BICYCLE TOURING MINI-BREAK - BELGIUM & THE NETHERLANDS
I had a 3 day mini-break in July 2022 where I took my touring bike for a spin.
From my home in Goirle, the Netherlands I cycled South into Belgium. And finished, at the end of day 3, in the city of Maastricht. From here I took the train home.
This video is about day 1 of the trip:
Starting at the converted railway line called the "Bels Lijntje"', running from Tilburg in the Netherlands to Turnhout in Belgium: en.visitbaarle...
Passing thru Flemish cities like Herentals and Aarschot.
Finishing in the very nice mediaval city of Diest.
Total kilometer ridden on this first day: 95

Thanks for reminding me how civilised cycling in the Netherlands and Belgium is! If you lived in the UK you would adore every cm of the way and never think it dull or boring ... it beats fearing your life on badly designed roads!

Heerlijk een nieuw avontuur(tja) van je. Kijk er graag naar. Ik ben met Pinksteren 4 dagen naar Ardennen geweest met mijn dochter. Tijd van ons leven gehad. Bikepacken is serieus leuk.
