Bought this 2020 Lepus as shown, but did update to a Rohloff hub and the lowest gearing available. Also ordered 152mm(?) short crank arms for arthritis. 4th Hase model currently owned. 3rd Lepus model currently owned. Also do own tadpoles. Cannot get on and off of my tadpoles for well over a decade now. Tadpole = LEAST tires most directly beneath rider. Tadpole = REDUNDANT tires to steer with on bike paths..., which are most often every bit as straight as railroad tracks! Tadpole = Hardest recumbent planform to get on and off of. Plan ahead!!!$$$. We're all getting younger... Tadpole = Best..., only if you want a "sports car." Think that through before spending money. NEVER seen any sports car type recumbent riding here in SW Ohio...., not ever. Been riding recumbents since about 1990 here. I see riders ONLY touring & sightseeing! Tadpole = Mechanical disassembly/re-assembly needed if a rear flat tire occurs. No disassembly/re-assembly needed for a rear flat tire on a Hase recumbent. Hmmm... Tires ARE suspension.., whether additional mechanical suspension exists or not. Two tires most directly beneath rider equal greater comfort. Hase in above video is my already-owned personal dream recumbent! HEY.., just look at a typical tadpole rain canopy that very much resembles a canopy on a horse-drawn buggy. Yup!!! Then look at a Hase rain fairing/poncho that very much resembles a recumbent velomobile. 2 Hase rain fairings here. I actually further enjoy a ride IN the rain! In the rain, one then OWNS the bike path too! LOL! Hello there: Nature, Scenery & Wildlife! Restaurants touching the bike paths are STILL open in the rain too. No affiliation here,... rather simply long-term direct experience, Gary J. Seckel AKA: "Jason Stillwater" in recumbent world.

Can this motor be retrofited to a 2015 All Around with a Rohloff and universal joint?
