Bicycling the Wisconsin 400 State Trail, September 18, 2020

We did a mid-September ride on the 400 State Trail in Wisconsin from Elroy to Reedsburg. This is a beautiful trail and in our opinion the best of the three trails that spur out from Elroy; the Elroy Sparta, Omaha, and 400. We did the whole trail, 44 miles, from end to end and back. Typical of Wisconsin, it is a crushed stone trail.

2:38 seconds. “You” had a stop sign that you rolled through, seems funny you expect tragic to stop for you. Not a cross walk. Stop, look both ways and then proceed when safe. Elementary. I enjoyed the video but gosh, you’re old enough to know.

Yeah, no crosswalk when I look again. Definitely, my human hypocritical nature showing its head. We do slow down quite a bit and balance upright to sure traffic is going to stop or clear and stop if we have to. It is a pain to actually stop and put your foot down and have to get started again. Always trying to take the opinion is that the car will always win in a bike/car incident, but sometimes one gets into a zone while riding and lose focus.Glad you enjoyed the video despite that and thanks for watching.
