What if they did a silent auction with having fans/viewers serve as the auctioneer in each city so Link and Rargh have to run around to see what each item is and what the current bid is at. Only allow a certain number of teleports to each location so if they run out they have to decide if it is worth it to run there and miss out on other items.

I want to see wheels with specific combat styles. So a wheel that spins only magic gear for example then you guys get like 5 spins in each item slot and see who comes up with the better mage gear. I know the combat triangle exists but it would be neat to do a "mage vs melee'" and "range vs mage" fight for example when you guys both know what combat style you're going against. Also, a timed bidding challenge would be cool to see where you increase the number of items to about 17-18 but only have 1 minute to bid per item.

You should add an auction challenge, both players have 200m to spend. Random gear on the wheel from runite to ghrazi rapier. But the catch is. You dont know what is being auctioned so you have to bid randomly and hope you bid more than the other to win the item. It would be the most random fight ever.

Maybe there could be some quick fights after a few auctions to either give more money going into the next round or give a food upgrade or potions for the final fight. I think each auction item would have to have a "backup" item a tier below it that the loser would get (either for free or for a portion of the winning bid) with each fight just being with equipment and no food (or prayer?). Dunno how the balance would work, but it could be interesting to add some extra variety to auction episodes.

Everyone saying Link bossed the bidding by being reserved and quiet, no, he really didn’t. He was close to turning up to the fight with just fists for God’s sake 💀 The money was only figurative, there was no need for reserved spending at all. Where he went wrong was deciding on going Range after the first item was drawn with no guarantees any Range items would pop. In turn he ended up passing on everything else because they weren’t the items he wanted. With these challenges, only an X amount of spins or items means it’s better to be aggressive early because the gear wins you the fight, not the money left over. When Rargh had five pieces of gear to Link’s one the fight was already over, yet everyone’s praising the hesitation and complimenting his theoretical poker skills because he didn’t waste the imaginary GP 😂

The auction annoyed me because in a real auction you can't just lower your bid increase. Generally in every auction I've been to, the auctioneer sets an increase. If he gets no bids at that increment he drops increments until he gets a bid once there has been a bid at an increment say 10m increments for this auction, you cannot then bid 5m more. You have to continue the 10m increments, or up the ante and make the increment larger to get the other person to drop out. The bidding increment can only ever increase once bidding has begun.
