I'm no Biden fan. Not even close, actually, but to make it to the most powerful office in the world requires a great deal of intelligence. Having a simple mind is impossible if you achieved the position. Now, whether or not one makes good or bad decisions is different, but no president has been perfect. Decisions are more often than not subjectively perceived to be good or bad (unless it can be quantified like the economy). So that isn't the best indication of whether or not a president is supremely intelligent either.

the only method that scalia had for interpreting the constitution was the very method that he disclaims in this interview. don't think so? read his opinion in the vernonia case in which he openly bases his opinion upon a personal belief which can be found nowhere save in his imagination. he was a smart guy who thought that he was smarter than everyone else and that, therefore, his intuition should trump legal precedent, social mores, and natural rights.

In the end, it was a question of whether the search in question was "reasonable". And he then undertook an analysis discussing that "reasonableness" calculation. Ginsburg and Breyer, two notoriously liberal, left-leaning judges, joined him, as did Kennedy, who became increasingly liberal and left-leaning throughout his tenure on the court. @@retroguy9494 Hair transplants back then were in the developmental stages. He got hair plugs back in the early 1980s when he was in his early 40s. You can google pics of him throughout the years of his life and check out his hair. He did a CNN interview in 81 in which his hair growth was evident compared to the 1970s. His teeth have always looked healthy. That puzzles me for a man his age having teeth that look as good as they did when he was decades younger.

Seeing how astute & calm Judge Scallia is as he's smoking on his pipe in this hearing & then watching Senator Biden, as he blathers on & on like an intelligent gas bag filled with nothing except likes hearing the tone of his voice, actually hurts my ears, but I noticed as he's speaks, he keeps taking his glasses on & off his face several times that signals to me he has a difficult time understanding what he's reading on the table much less has little understading of what he's saying (known as BS) on any of the topics covered during the hearing including the amendments to the Constitution! Today I see President Biden with no glasses as he's either squinting in a freaky way at people or looks truly spaced out; while Vice President Kamala Harris looks like a scared frozen deer with a toothy smile as she starres into the abyss of the bright lights of her campaign but rather wishes she could camouflage herself as an alien species of questionable human origin.
