[spoiler alert for avengers endgame] at the end of the movie, captain america becomes really old, and says the line “no, i don’t think i will”, which became a huge meme around that time. people on the internet realized that old captain america looked a lot like joe biden, and that became part of the meme too, so biden saying old steve rogers’ line in this video is a nod to that. (also my reply was a reference to the original avengers movie, as steve says “i understood that reference”)
