What a senti(mental) song in a melodious voice and full of emotions. Each word seems to be full of ‘harkat’. Your patient and sincere teaching and calming voice is exceptional. If there is a fire in the building, people will first finish your teaching/singing, IMO. You effortlessly sing high and low octave notes, I think Ms Grande should be concerned 😀

Ma’am, you are drilled on the finest points of Indian classical music, and you have sung beautifully. But with utmost humility I would like to say that I feel that there might be a very subtle harkat that could have been unconsciously overlooked by you in the line’loot kar mera jahaan’. I do listen to this song quite frequently and I feel Lata ji has packed too many subtle notes in the word ‘jahaan’ which you seemingly have sung plainly. Do tick me off if I am wrong ma’am😊

True... in fact I realized it even before going thru your comment. That *Jahaan* word has harkat especially those *haan* place. You have good ear to music. But Bidisha is doing superb job of getting this kind of music in learning mode for all viewers which is rare singing these days. So best wishes to her👍.

What is missing from your training is that you do not provide or discuss underlying Raag. All these note by note notations are useless. A singer either knows how to play it on harmonium or does not, simple as that.
