Many years ago my mother refound this band and ordered this album "Opposites". When the package arrived and she listened to it, I came home from school. She got a call and turned the volume down, but I could still hear the music. She told me then that my great grandmother had died. On the day we drove to the funeral the music came up again. I always kinda connected the music to the death of my great grandmother, but it's actually really good. I don't know why by today I came back to this. It's not a special date, no one talked about it. I just wanted to listen to it. It's such a weird feeling.

What a rollercoaster of a song. Starts off all easy listening, then goes sorta breakup song style, then the wicked heavy metal-esque breakdown. Definitely cool stuff. It's nice to see a band with that kind of range within one song.

Thanks for the tip. Steven needs a band type of situation to be at his best. Loved all the PT and solo stuff up until the very last thing he put out. I'm checking out this band due to their appearance on the Metallica Blacklist covers album. A wild version of "Holier Than Thou". I will say that Biffy is not my usual flavor, but I will say I like the realness of their music. Not all that over-produced pop that is so prevalent today. Has a pretty good punch to its happy sound.

Not only am I a fan of Biffy Clyro but I am also a fan of 5 Seconds of Summer. And it was Biffy Clyro that I started listening to first. 5SOS have made rock music more popular within the younger generations. DEAR GOD. I'm a huge 1D & 5SOS fan, but I've loved Biffy Clyro for years, long before 1D & 5SOS came along.
