Matt Campbell #9? Way too low. The fact that last year he lost his top players in a scandal just prior to the season but still was in the running for the league championship was amazing.

Needs to win. Recruiting and still going 7 wins is not a top coach.
@markgreen24885 ай бұрын
Whoever put this list together is hitting the crack pipe. The commentator said several times that Joey McGuire was doing a good job. Joey has had to play all 3 quarterbacks in both of his seasons as the head coach. And yet, immediately ahead of McGuire is Dave Aranda and Neil Brown. Brown has been a complete bust and was coaching on a win or be fired basis last year, when he finally had a winning season. Dave Aranda has zero charisma or motivational skills, and is on the verge of being fired. Joey has had top 2 recruiting classes in both of his first 2 years, which is better than the two head coaches you list immediately above him. Sorry, but there is some idiotic logic being used here. What a joke!!!

Yes Garrett Greene is very underrated. I think people will really start to notice him this season.

Cracks me up how everyone that does these lists say the same talking points that don’t really translates all the time. Whittingham is a top five, sure. I can get down with that. Over Gundy though? I don’t think so haha People keep forgetting Whittingham did a lot of his winning in the MWC. Not knocking him for his conference he was in. Then they go to the PAC12 and need I say much about that conference for the 10 or so years they were in it. Two conference championships is not impressive when you win it with 2-3 losses for the year in an already weak Pac12. Incredible people don’t remember these things haha. I have no problem if people want to put him as the #1, but explain some of those talking points I mentioned and defend him for having a great resume against weak competition most of his career. Bring on the haters for this comment hahaha. For the record I don’t have a dog in this fight. Just speaking freely

Joey McGuire is at least top five. You need to update this list. He is a recruiting beast in Texas. Aranda above Joey!😂
@3andOut_CFB5 ай бұрын
When recruiting shows up on the field, it could be different. Aranda has a recent big 12 title.

Disagree. Gundy only won 1 B12 chip in 2011 in his 20 years. Whittingham won 2 out of the last 3 PAC-12 chips and 2 more in the MWC before they moved to P5 in 2011. He also played in 4 straight PAC-12 chips 🙌
