There is not a single person in the world who can sing his lyrics so fast as Steve Ignorant. I am singing his songs for over forty years and there are a couple that I still have problems keeping up with. Like some parts of Big A little A. He is my all time favorite guy ❤❤❤

I am from Norway. I had the same problem as you Marian, even though I have lived in Canada 1 year and in Minneapolis from 1990 - 1994. But the thing that makes it difficult to understand is Steve Ignorant´s brilliant accent. And the best thing about Crass is their lyrics. I was a speed junky from 1990 - 2006. I loved listening to Crass then and other Anarcro- & Oi Punk. I haven´t touched Speed since March 13th, 2006 (I got sick and tired of it), but every time I listen to Crass, I feel cranked out of my fucking mind again, even though I am totally clean. My religion is Anarcro-, Oi Punk and Liverpool FC. When I was 16 years old, I travelled from Norway - Brussels to watch the European Cup Final between Liverpool - Juventus 0-1. Before the match started there were 39 dead people lying around the stadium. We didn´t have mobile phones back them, and I couldn´t afford calling my parents from a pay phone. My parents were very happy when I came home.

These lyrics seem more uplifting now than they ever have. To live your life with your own strong convictions and still strive to live in peace with every aspect of the human experience regardless of how difficult the conversation may be. Invalidation of an individuals experience is what leads to violent radical politics, right or left, that only seek to destroy rather than build and connect. Anarchism starts in the mind and peace is how you should strive to express it. 🙏🏾✌🏾✊🏾
@urphakeandgey63082 жыл бұрын

Squigin. Great comments. There's still much wrong with society, but what has always bothered me was 'come the revolution' what do we do with all the violent criminals who would only take advantage of our dream society. Also where are the people who are strong enough to stand up and make a statement. A retweet is as far as it goes. In the 80's we had riots. Although so many mistakes were made, at least the powers at be took notice.

There will never be anything as good as Crass. Then you have to believe in reincarnation, which I don´t. In my younger days when everyday was a party for 16 years, I was clinical dead twice. Both times everything was black. I didn´t see St. Peter & I didn´t see Lucifer. According to the bible Jesus woke of from the from the dead once. I beat him. I woke up from the dead twice. My religion is Liverpool FC & Anarcro- & Oi Punk. But I respect other people´s opinion about religion. Cheers from Norway mate.
