Hey Robert, this is a fitting time to tell you that because of your teaching and coaching I am now making 18’ foot U-turns on the parking lot. I still have lots of work to do and look forward to more great videos and positive encouragement on Be the Boss of Your Motorcycle! Preload and keep it loaded, y’all!
I surely appreciate this channel! I've been riding for 3mths. My biggest challenge was just going up my driveway. I fell 3 times at the top of the driveway after i slowed down. Now I don't shoot up the the hill anymore. I can slow roll uphill in control keeping it loaded all the way until I turn onto the street and stop to close my garage door. Last week for the 1st time I made 2 U turns on the streets. It started raining so I wanted to turn around to go home but I was nervous at that intersection. I thought about you dropping your bike on that due pavement. It was a good U turn in the rain. I can't thank u enough for this channel!!!
Robert, I've been following you from your channels infancy. I think the name change is excellent, as it will help with the algorithms of KZbin. I never began riding until I turned 60 because I had scraped so many riders off the roads during my law enforcement career. Between my fellow law enforcement buddies and your channel I have become a confident rider....within my limitations. I recently relocated to New Brunswick. Canada, so I am slowly getting closer to Georgia. LOL

Hi Robert I have been working your program. Getting better. Still suck. Just getting back into riding after 40 years. I will not go out on the main road until I have this down with confidence. If you can't be the Boss at slow speed the Motorcycle is going to be the Boss on the road. My Daughter wants to ride. She is 34. I sent her to Team Arizona Tucson to learn ant get her indorsement. Two day course. I went over there today to watch. Everything you teach what not to do they are doing. You need to expand. Train people that live in different areas to teach you method. Not for free. People want to pay for quality. Thanks for teaching use. You are saving lives and injuries.

Awesome. Congrats on the great channel Robert!!! I'm a baby rider of 2 weeks. Found your channel after one week but got into a Not At Fault accident because of a drunken idiot at night the next week. It will be 6 months before I can practice your preaching again. I love your channel and it's what gets me out of bed, pushing for a full recovery each morning. I'm glad you're okay after your rear-ender. Breakable body, unbreakable spirit. Thank you for EVERYTHING you do Robert!! Much love!

Rob, this makes complete sense. That stated, the Paying It Forward concept speaks to your character and your thought process in doing all that you do. This change focuses interested parties on the focus of your efforts and as they listen and learn, your paying it forward thought process comes through. Be safe and ride well and hope you and Violet heal real soon…more emphasis on you healing.

True story, I was on a back roads ride in central Florida when I came upon a guy who had wrecked his Harley going around a sharp curve. Another biker has stopped to help but both of them were pretty old dudes. I am no spring chicken at 66 but I offered to lift the bike back up. After we got the bike up I suggested to the owner that he check out your channel. He responded that he had met you at an event at Daytona, I believe, but you weren't teaching guys how to handle sharp turns at 60mph!

Greetings Robert, love the new name change, it signifies just what your lessons and concept entails..motorcycles!!!. Anyone that has spent a proffesional career on a motorcycle and a dangerous job such as a highway patrol officer has my utmost respect as a biker. I've seen videos of the training and skill that goes into that profession and it's mind boggling the ability it takes on 2 wheels to accomplish that level of expertise and the fact you're willing to share this knowledge says a lot about your character as a man of integrity! Took the MSF class in 2020, and got my endorsement but that was just the beginning, but after looking at your videos about preloading, rear brake and throttle control, it opened up my eyes about bike control..I can even do a sharp U turn on a steep street hill now, which was impossible and terrifying for me until I got YOUR concept down..would love to see expert techniques on riding on gravel, dirt, wet surfaces , etc, much respect for what you do for us.and your former civil service as a highway patrol LT. officer

I'm a new rider, just graduated the msf course and bought a 2020 low rider s. I'm just waiting for crash bars to come in and hope they fit the bike. For now I'm just playing with the clutch and throttle to get a feel for it ☺ I've been watching your videos before I started the msf course. I definitely have lots of practice ahead of me, but I always hear you in my head "preload and keep it loaded!", "Trust and believe!" when I feel nervous about my turns and tipping over. The new name definitely fits.. Thanks for all you do! 💞
Hey Robert your awesome your encouragement to keep practicing has paid dividends for me keeping it loaded really enjoying riding because of your channel you

I like it, LT. Speaking of names, you inspired me to name my HD Heritage. I couldn't give it a female's name, lest my wife get jealous, so I named it ATTILA. The wife approves. On a side note, I've realized lately that I can't take this summer heat and humidity. I'm a "ALL THE GEAR, ALL THE TIME" rider and while folks say "I'd rather sweat than bleed", I'd rather do neither. I'm gonna ride in spring and fall, of course, but now I'll gear up for winter riding. And I don't mean when it's freezing cold, snowing and sleeting. Winter's here in the southeast are relatively mild (for the most part), and I'm thinking anything down to 40 degrees should be doable. What was your experience in winter riding in New York, LT?

Thank you very much! I understand completely. In New York I really only rode for work and if it was hot, I wore short sleeves. If it was cold, I wore a leather jacket. In between, a long sleeve shirt.
