Nice - thanks for sharing. Just bought my first 72" i6. This video helped tremendously. These fans are beautiful and well built. Thanks again!

What are the remote options? Can you control more more than 1 fan with a remote?
@ZittleFarms4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question! My understanding is there is no limit on the handheld remote. If you get the Wall Control- it can do up to 4. These fans also have an app and can be controlled by your voice! Hope that helps

Thank you very much Kimberly!! 1- 84" i6!! and 2- I don't think there is a reverse for the i6. But they recommend to never to fun a fan in reverse - just run it at a slow forward speed during the winter

The nut and bolt you installed after dropping the Downrod: Does it actually tighten? When I installed mine, the bolt and nut tightened to each other but continue to spin in the actual hole. I did install the bolt on the right and nut on the left. I also noticed they put the down sticker on the wrong side as the downrod wouldn’t go down.
@ZittleFarms3 жыл бұрын
Hey Christian! Thanks for your comment. For what I remember, the nut and bolt were tight and did not spin. The side the nut went on had groves in it to hold the nut in place without spinning.

@@ZittleFarms thanks for the reply. I’ll have to double check ours then.

I had to run a larger drill bit through the safety cable bracket to enlarge the hole on the opposite side. The sleeve of the nut is supposed to fit through the larger bore so it will seat in there completely and capture the hex head to prevent it from turning, but how they it was originally, I was going to have to drill 1 thing to make it work. The aluminum safety wire bracket was the easier thing to drill to a slightly larger size (I used the bit that fit through the larger of the 2 holes then drilled from inside out). Hopefully that makes sense. You've probably figured it out by now.

How is the actual CFM air flow? Feel it really well, moves your hair? I just bought a Fanimation Slinger V2 72" 6,830 CFM on the box, but CFM on Lowe's website says 8,200 to 8,800 CFM on their website... Ceiling is 16' high, using stock 6" down rod. I barely feel any air movement just outside of the blades (only on my legs actually) and slightly more if I'm direct below it. I'm definitely wanting to upgrade if the Bigass fan puts out way more air.
@ZittleFarms2 жыл бұрын
I have the 84" model and it looks like a CFM of 15,576. The air movement is phenomenal! I love it. www.bigassfans.com/docs/i6/cutsheet-i6.pdf

Great video! Does BigAss explain the optimal distance the fan should be from the floor? If so do you trim the downrod or do you order a specific sized downrod? I ask because I have a 10’ ceiling.

Thanks!! They do have an optimal distance. When you fill out the information on buying one. The last option is ceiling height!
