In 1969 I was paying $0.28 a gal now 50 + years later I'm paying $3.30 what an increase. 1969 I was making $ 1.75 an hr when I retired I was making $45+ an hour. 1978 I paid $43,250 for my house a neighbor just sold the almost same house for $356k. 1971 I bought a 69 Hemi Road Runner with less 10k for $2900. In 2024 I bought a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 90k and paid $16k inflation is a fact of life. You all want to make the big bucks but how do you expect to do that without prices going up. Think about it Make $2.50 an hour = gas $0.30 a gallon Make $25 - $40 = $3.40 a gallon. You can't expect to pay $1.50 a gallon if you're making $75k+ a year. I remember in the late 50s my Dad coming home from work all happy one Friday because he just got a raise as a machinist/tool & dye maker. He was now bringing home $90 a week. 3 kids and a mortgage. 1 old car 1 black and white TV 3 channels a test screen after midnight. Gas was $0.22, And Diesel was $0.16. like I said Inflation is a part of life.

Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sins to rescue us from eternal death. He died on our behalf.
