I love this show! Wish it never ended on season 12. I still have hope that one day they'll all come back for 5 more seasons. We want Penny and Leonard with their first child together. Raj finally marries the perfect girl for him. Amy pregnant with Sheldon's baby. Stuart finally getting married to Dennis! You see... there's so much we haven't seen on this show. Big Band needs to come back. 😭

blay1963 Melissa is the main reason BBT is so bad these days. She's the main reason that what used to be a funny sitcom is now little more than a soap opera trying to live off what they have in the past called "Running Gags". Howard marring Bernadette was the last straw for me. It had descended into the mire of "have snappy wife shout her head off at husband all the time" and the audience will laugh. And it's canned laughter. This "live studio audience" blarney is so transparent. It's just canned laughter by another name. People come to the studio primed for laughter, and they're all together, so it's that "laughing because the others seem to be laughing" syndrome. But we'll still have those first few series I suppose.

It's too strange to see them in real life! I watch this show from Kazakhstan, but translators (Kuraj Bombey) could save and transfer all atmosphere of the show. The first seasons I've seen, I even did't think to see original voice acting, and when I saw it, I was delighted with the translator. I myself study on translator and I know how it's sometimes difficult to put into words the author's thought from a foreign language. The show breathes such comfort and life that makes you forget your troubles. See such things is easy and pleasant. Best Regards from KZ!

Great show and I'm not even in the same generation! It's about the only show that makes me laugh. Love the diversity of characters and come backs are so funny with these kids. The first show I watched years ago was the time machine where someone joked about it being an Elton John sled, and it just cracked me up for several minutes. My kind of silly humor! My daughter got me interested in watching it - very entertaining with the great acting and jokes. I want Michio Kaku to play a part on there.

I've seen the live studio audience in a BBT documentary b4. I consider this to be little more than a laughter track. It's only the adoring fans who want to be there, so they force a laugh at everything. In recent series I thought the laughter was way over the top for most of the comedy, especially in recent series, whether it's laughter track or studio audience.

Yeah, I've seen him in interviews and on shows like letterman and such and his mannerisms, way of moving and talking are almost the same as Sheldon's most of the time, the main differences is he's nicer than Sheldon and the dialogue lol. I always used to think the way he played Sheldon was really great, then I saw him out of character and how similarly he acts in reality and well, I can't honestly say I'm impressed after that.
