I think Spirit really misses being home with Mom and Dad and being spoon fed. Funny how she flopped down and got comfy. Even stopped squawking! Then it’s all quiet and calm next to Dad. 😂 🤣. She’s sooo cute!

I will never forget how it was when they had last snow/rain there, Spirit still being small crawled under Jackie and Jackie covered Spirit laying her head on Spirit's body. What an instinct!

That was the single most poignant and beautiful scene of this entire season. Literally gave me chills. Jackie's body and the hand of God covering Spirit that night was a powerful sight to behold.💓

I think I would call that Daddy torture time. She is so fierce and demanding, biting and screaming, even when she gets the fish. Then when she jumped on Shadow apparently because he didn't go get her another fish, oh my. I don't see her having any trouble surviving on her own.

Spirit has been very hungry and audibly demanding from the beginning. Her parents are great feeders, which likely explains why Spirit has done so well in her growth and development. She's not shy about asking !!!

I was watching some of this live and it just warmed my heart! Especially when she just flopped down to rest next to dad. Then the tantrums started: "Get your butt outta my face dad!" 🤣 "I don't want you in my nest dad, you need to leave now, what? You don't think so, well imma gonna jump on ya'! So there!" Goodness gracious. You know, I was thinking, they must not mind that she grabs their talons, otherwise they'd drop the fish and leave before she got there. Call, has there ever been knowledge of any baby taking over their own parents nests anywhere, meaning they just don't leave? TYSVM

Lovely, gentle and patient Shadow spending time with his little one! Watching this made me think that even thought the eagles are essentially solitary animals outside of the breeding season, they would probably enjoy the company of an offspring like this.
