Like you, this was the first eagle nest I faithfully watched. Last year was sad and am happy Shadow stepped up to the plate to help Jackie protect and brood the eggs. I know he is a young father and has proven himself this year.

Praise the Lord! This made me cry happy tears 😆 I remember their broken hearts last year when their eggs did not hatch. Shadow's a proud papa, gentle, and attentive. So careful keeping baby warm and making sure the fluff is just right.
