This Precious Nugget has our hearts. ( I called her Little Nugget when we didn't know if she was female or male, she will always be My Little Nugget, she is so precious) We are going to be lost the day she leaves on her gran journey.I cried the day the flew off the nest, my heart dropped when I woke up and seen the nest empty. Has anyone else noticed how quiet Jackie's been??? 🤫 I guess Spirit complaining made Jackie realize how annoyed poor Shadow must be....🥰 I actually think that's what makes Jackie super special because she always has alot to say to Shadow. But not since Spirit got here...she's quiet.

I believe you are quite right, Spirit's loudness has taught her how annoying her own volume can be. Sha has indeed been much more quiet.

Thanks for this video, Cali, it was much quieter than I expected it to be from the title. I can't believe that Sprit actually let Jackie have the rest of that fish, with barely a complaint. Is she getting more mature and realized she should share when she had had her fill? Jackie is so patient with her.

Yes, I agree.. Spirit intensely watches Jackie, you can see looking at Spirit, she is soaking up servival skills, flying etc.. It is magical to witness!!

Yes, very similar. I think Simba was more demanding (and louder) yanking feet, toes, legs,ankles when Jackie or Shadow would fly into the nest with food. :):) - Stephanie

Spirit is likely off on her Grand Journey by now. Since she is not banded, there will be no way to ID her going forward, we could only estimate her age while she is still in Immature plumage. If she decides to come back, she will likely be treated as an intruder and escorted out of the territory... this is not something that I would like to witness 😊
