Thank you so much Nat Geo!!! I went to Big bend 2-3 weeks ago and didnt realize how much wildwife are hidden all around the park! One of the most lovely places on earth and enjoy the remoteness of it. Be careful if you visit during the summer time, there are so many past losses for people underestimating the heat past noon

Just recently went to Big Bend it was beautiful and life long memories were made. One thing I will ask of everyone is to follow the speed limit signs. So many people wanting to barrel through the flat area before the chisos. Take your time and enjoy the beauty.

I felt so bad for the Mother Roadrunner she couldn't get a break from her babies literally driving her berserk I noticed after she gave them all that food they were still crying when she sat down she just closed her eyes But I have never ever ever seen the stars look like that in the sky I'm going to take a trip there to see that in person

We got to hike Panter junction with a few inches of snow on the ground in 2021. Pretty rare, but tbey actually get snow in the mountains occasionally. It's was an amazing place.

Beautiful video and place. I found it curious why the narrator said the agave and bats have been evolving for thousands of years. My understanding is that species evolving takes hundreds of thousands of years or millions of years. Are they pandering to the hometown crowd? 30:59 false, this is the harvard agave. The agave youre referring to is the bue Taquilera Agave not to be confused with the Agave Americana (the typical agave you see in almost every yard. Both are not native, they exist naturally deep in mexico.

Please write to Utah Senator Mike Lee and ask him not to hold up the Big Bend NP boundary expansion bill filed by his fellow GOP-er John Cornyn and Senator Lujan of New Mexico, to enable sellers who wish to and planned to of sell their land to the park to do so.
