near inglis florida at the public ramp theres a picnic area with small beach, my self and a low experiance friend paddled out mabe 3/4 mile and walked a small island, we were against a low speed wind going out, i was remarking it will be easy ride back, nope nope comeing back wind changed to strong head wind, he was struggleing as choppy waves quickly appeared, waves will turn to white caps breaking on shallow flats, that scared me that day with him trusting my judgement he made it ok with me sticking close but thats how fast you can get in trouble out there, we were in very stable but very lite weight12 ft phoenix poke boats
