Big Block Chevy Cam Removal

Time Lapse of us removing the Cam from our 1978 Sidestep Chevy. Just shows what goes into removing a cam from your big block Chevrolet.

I didn't mind the music and didn't notice any symbols. Great vid. A couple of things I would have done differently are: Radiators are the absolute first thing I pull, this is after I put a screwdriver through one as I was trying to be careful around it. I have to learn stuff the hard way so now I pull the radiator first and foremost. Next is the carb. I'm not sure why you pulled the carb when the whole intake has to come out anyway. If I'm missing something please let me know but this step seems redundant... unless you were planning to do something other than just swap out the cam. The harmonic balancer is the same deal. As far as I know that doesn't need to be pulled to get the cam out. But, again you may have been planning on doing other stuff as well, maybe a front main seal, who knows? Also... the kid... I know too well how kids start something with ya and miraculously disappear a quarter of the way into the job. Yours there seemed no different. "Hey, I'm gonna run inside for something real quick. Ya need anything?" Just for your ass to come back sometime before I turn 90 years old and can no longer work on your Shit! Lol! I don't know, I may be misjudging him completely. Just saying, your not the only one who's found themselves wrenching alone. Again, good vid. Thanks!

Your right, as many other people have said this aswell. The problem is that we talking about sensitive stuff, family, money, this and that. I don't feel that this should be "seen" on the internet. Having an entire video with random moments of sound I knew would of been a nightmare. This was an attempt to make it enjoyable to watch, but also censoring the loud and personal moments. I'll try better next time and thanks for the comment. Sorry it was rough. It doesn't help I don't have an audio engineer and have to use "generic" sounds to avoid copyright. Ideas?

@@Thran69 it wasn't that big of a deal, just annoying. I think the symbol is what drove me nuts the most. I ended up watching it and turning the sound down. Thanks for the video though.

@@andy347495 So maybe next time, a better music choice with less symbols, at a significantly lower volume. I will remember this when making my next. Check out my other videos. I got one everyone will love. Thanks for the feedback 👍
