WOW, that sky at the end, so blue and white. Those Blueberries are huge, you guys are so LUCKY to still have all those pick your own farms nearby, nothing is better than to pic your own. No matter how BAD your arthertis is when you wake up you get in a Pick your own patch and the wind is blowing and that Blue sky - its better than any arthertis drug they have on the market. Thanks to Logan and Frank for taking us along. They got rid of all our pick your own and put up expensive homes and Condos. The parents all passed away and the kids sold out the Farms - SO SAD.

I recently saw ahand printer device that could of printed your information on the blank feed bags. And you would be able to use it to print on other things you sell , plastics, fabric, wood, and even concrete. Its called a HAND JET E B S 260. YOU could even print shirts that say" its not much But its HONEST WORK"😊 AND. PRINT them as you need them. Just like the bags you filled with corn. I know its not cheap but its an idea for ya. About 60 years ago when I was a kid we raised blackberries and raspberries, sold hundreds of gallons most years for a whopping price of $2.00 per gallon,,,, picked, pick you own was $1.00 per gallon. June bugs were our biggest problem for pests, bet those blueberries are a little higher priced these days.

How many strands of the polywire do you plan to install for the deer fence? You will probably want to drive multiple ground rods, each spaced several feet apart. This is especially important when the ground gets dry. Will you have any problem driving them deep enough in the rocky soil? If you can't go deep, then you need additional rods.
@BroyansFarm11 ай бұрын
So all together it is 4 miles of strawberries. We plan on going around the field twice so the deer have less of a chance getting into the field. I don’t believe we will have any issue getting the rods into the ground if it is dry. We will probably wait until it rains to put them in after so we do not have any trouble. Thank you for watching! 😃
@HalbertS-wt5hr11 ай бұрын
@BroyansFarm Best of luck with the fence, it will be a learning experience for sure. Before you get the fence up the deer will walk on the plastic and punch holes with their hooves. I can tell you one thing for sure, don't string some fence wire and then leave it un-electrifed overnight; the deer will wreck havoc. Deer have to be trained to the fence from the get-go. Have everything ready to go before dark, charger, ground rods, wire to connect charger to polywires and to ground rods, etc.

people who buy your corn already know you, so I don't think that it makes a great difference if you have the non printed ones. So don't worry about that. Even the Veggie Boys sell their corn in reused bags from the feed they get for their animals.

@@beckyumphrey2626 they do it in the same building where they store there potatoes. Always in bags from cow or horse feed. They even had a video where they are using the metal twisted wire because they have problems with there sewing machine (the needles keep braking).
