First of all, Cartographers was the reason I finally caved into trying out BotM. Second of all... Whenever I travel, I HAVE to visit a bookstore. You really get a good feel for the culture of a place based on what books are offered there. Even if it's a chain store... There will be different books when you go elsewhere. As such, I personally require a trip into a bookstore when I travel. It's really the best way to be exposed to books you might not find otherwise. Also, the books you picked up...YES! Some are now officially on my wishlist. I love your unusual finds!

When I was younger I used to regularly go to a place called Hay on Wye in the UK, which is well known as the bookshop capital of the country, made some amazing finds. Wherever I have been on my travels I always seek out a bookshop, found some great books when I was working in Germany

Great haul Regan. I recently read The Paris Apartment and even though I did enjoy her previous books this one sadly missed the mark for me and I gave it 2 stars Gallant was a fun read with a good twist at the end. I would highly recommend The Dutch House as it was a fantastic, immersive read and came out as a 5 star for me back when I read it.
