Loved this! The Colour Purple is actually part of a series, which I didn't know until last year. I read Possessing the secret of Joy which was amazing, but very heavy subject matter and follows some characters from TCP. Currently reading The Safekeep and loving it, I think you might as well so would definitely recommend.

If you love the Cazalet chronicles then you must read Alvesdon by Tom Holland. I was bought Sweet Sorrow for Christmas and will dive in soon

Got gifted my first book in years. It was Happy Place by Emily Henry and I read it in 1 day. Really enjoyed it and was surprised as my expectations were low. No offence to her 😅
