Just found your channel the other day and have been binge watching the "Big Book" series. What I appreciate the most about your videos is the ability to watch your thought process. I also like how "slow" they are so I can craft along with you. I usually have to pause instructional videos often, but with yours I can just craft along. Thanks!

The very best advice ever given to me by another artist was to keep a running journal and sketches of everything that even sort of interests me. One year later and 4 beyond stuffed composition books later, I use them almost every day. I create, paint, collect, dream about and design in them all the time. They have their very own special bookshelf and when I get something in one of them, I really like, I open it to that page and use a large standing photo holder...kind of like a small easel, to display spreads one page at a time. If you catch it around back to school time, you can get compo books that have a dot grid and there is no worry about covering up lines. I know Walmart has them. I do double the pages and I won't say its perfect, it works very well for me!

What a lovely idea and a great story. I’m finding this process is also freeing up some “head space” since I can let go of the idea once I set it in the book. Thank you for sharing your story. ☺️

I am brand new to junk journaling so I’m gonna ask a stupid question. Is there a reason why you don’t fold those flaps on the cereal box edges and glue them down for extra support instead of cutting them off? I just found your channel and I’m excited to learn all the things! Beautiful paper btw!!
@hitherandyonstudio4 ай бұрын
I just find they are not consistent and actually the cereal box is quite sturdy on its own.
@ScaryCheri2 ай бұрын
I love 12x12 paper but wouldn’t it be great if they had 9x9 paper instead of 8x8 and 6x6 for the smaller versions of the 12x12. So many times you lose the great framing they did on the big sheets if you cut it down to 9x6 for jjs
@hitherandyonstudio2 ай бұрын
Yes but then we all have to go buy more paper pads. Oh wait! Yes what a great idea!!🤣
