I'm very, very happy you found the Doc Block Michelle! It's been a bit frustrating for me because our car died and I have no transportation, hubby had complications from surgery and is back in the hospital (3 weeks now), son had complications from his surgery, etc etc. So, I'm thankful they are both getting needed care, but am worn out and would have loved to have found one of those beauties, if only to see it in person! It isn't the end of the world, but my world has been pretty stress inducing lately and plants can sometimes be that "happy place!" Hopefully we'll get a way to post pics soon and you can feature yours! Then, I can live vicariously through you! Thanks for your tireless efforts to continue with daily plant content despite the challenges of life we all encounter! I will continue to be as supportive as possible! Hope your grandmother and the rest of your family is doing well! I'd love to send out red aglaonemas to certain Plant Foldies who don't seem to be able to get them where they are! Your community is very close in spirit, but scattered in distance! Hope you have a great week!

Another fun and interesting plant tour. And this Home Depot has such a well organized and prestine plant area. And yes those water bowl plants were at a good price. Make pretty good gifts for family, friend's and even co-workers. And who knows maybe they secretly have some Doc Blocks stored away and they are waiting till Black Friday. Thanks for the wonderful video. Have a goodnight and a marvelous Monday. 🥰❤🪴👏👍

I just get to look at plants, maybe a couple times a month, but what I'm looking for, we don't have in our area. So I look for them, wish we had the selection, you all have the the USA. That would be so exciting.

Also realized, that I don't want small plants anymore., that I have to wait and wait, for it to grow. So now I want bigger plants. No more rescues either.

Love the video! My sister bought me the philodendron red sun ! The one you shown in the other two videos. She was at the location & bought it for me. I’m so in love with my new plant baby. I had ordered Chang dang aglaonema she is beautiful! Easy plants are more my thing now. It just makes everything smoother for me. More people really do need to speak about aglaonemas! They’re easy plants to take care of & so beautiful. I’ve been thinking of growing a few of my plants in water. I’m still thinking about it though

I love those big sitting Christmas Dogs. I need one of those in the house, instead of real dogs, LOL.

Another good reason to utilize PON. I was transferring a tiny baby I just received into PON, and although it had a massive root system, there was some hidden root rot that came with the plant. Chances are, it would have spread in the soil when I watered it and possibly died. And I would have "assumed" I didn't provide what it needed. Since I was transferring it, I was able to remove the rooten roots and treat the plant!
@growfoldsКүн бұрын
I agree! I’m going to use it more for this reason

I think being faceless, is OK, because it could affect your REAL JOB. That would not be good. But STILL waiting for a Plant tour, LOL.

Have you grown pothos out of a fishtank? Feeding the fish feeds the hydroponically grown pothos. I have leaves on my jade pothos as big as my boyfriends hand. The stem is beginning to grow bark

How would you upgrade the H20 bowls once the root system gets to big? Would you have to break the container or cut the cork?
@growfoldsКүн бұрын
That’s a very good question

Yeah. Not all plants are for everyone. Id love to grow begonia rex but sadly i cannot. Id love to grow those frosty ferns that come for the holidays but i cannot. Different plants for different environments and lifestyles.

It occurred to me that planting my Adoids in PON isn't much different than the substrate I used for my rare succulents. The biggest difference was that with succulents you don't need or use a water reservoir!
@growfoldsКүн бұрын
You're right, they both have a similar structure, but each plant needs specific care to thrive.
