As someone who lives in the middle of the woods with limited internet, and streams that don't like to play, I very much appreciate the vods being available here on KZbin now! I love the long form content, so I can put it on in the background while I'm drawing. :) It's coming up on 10 years at some point this year that I've been following you, so appreciate a decade of entertainment! Loved the whole tech issue segment, was quite funny how it was a simple firewall setting. Reminds me of the early 2000s when my dad taught me as a kid how to disable the firewall because a Tonka Construction game was blocked by Windows 98 / XP (whatever we had then lol).

@57:20 HEY! I was an EMT for three years Chilled! THREE YEARS! You'd be surprised at the garbage we like to watch when we're posting for several hours straight. Not saying you're garbage, I... I'm gonna shut up now. 😓 Also @3:14:36 Good on Himi for knowing about the windows defender firewall. That was like watching Chilled try to herd a bunch of cats 😆 Himi is completely right though. Some firewalls will in fact check data packets in transit and purposely delay or delete them, same with installing programs it can sometimes try to parse the code and detect known viruses from a set database. There's a good chance a modded version of among us is using some sort of code injection to make things work in the game that could also be used maliciously to install a virus on someone's pc.

(since everybody is commenting on it here) The thing about apologizing, is that you should never apologize to people who hate you, because nothing you will do will make them not hate you, and they'll use your apology as a tool to attack you (you've admitted you've done something wrong by apologizing, therefore they don't have to justify why they hate you anymore). But you SHOULD apologize to friends, family, associates, and people who you want to maintain a friendly/working relationship with. Apologize to your fans, not to your critics.
@VictorCrackus13 күн бұрын
Sometimes the apology given to someone you hate is for your own peace of mind, and not theirs. Don't forget that.
@MilkieFeline13 күн бұрын
@@VictorCrackus Absolutely! I'm of the opinion that apologizing for a mistake is just as much about the person giving the apology as it is the one receiving it, if not more so. Also, an apology only holds weight if it is followed by correcting (or at least the attempt of correcting) the offending behavior. It's also worth mentioning that the same kinds of people that view apologizing as a weakness also tend to view kindness, temperance, humility, charity, patience, diligence, and chastity as weaknesses.

Pirate did apologise. But Yamato blew it out of proportion and went from chat to chat complaining about Pirate, causing him to get a bunch of hate-watchers yelling at him. Of course he's then going to switch stance and refuse to apologise.

27:27 Simply put, apologies are an admission of guilt. So what you are saying was used to berate people, aka you must have some guilt if you feel the need to apologize . In other words, it was seen as too much of a risk to even formally apologize which trickled to the informal.

lawls.. Correct. Give as little information as required by the state law that you are in, and municipal law. Be civil and kind of course. They have bodycam footage, and you have your rights. But if they tell you to get out of the car... Do that shit. Penn v Mimms. You don't want that one invoked on you where you're getting your ass beat on the side of the road. Also never say you're being harassed, 'cause then you're getting a ticket for absolutely everything imaginable, aka, what you could've had as a warning and drove away happily-but-annoyed, now you're getting hundreds in fines, and/or jailed and tows. So.. Just deleted "harassment" from your vocabulary. Shit gets super real when that word is used.

apologies became weakness when people realized that they could walk all over people who hold civility and amiability above actual values. everyone got burned too much by the most enthusiastic bad actors.
@kitmountaincat610213 күн бұрын
I believe it more of omegas pretending to be strong, because it takes courage and strength to take any personal responsibility and the people who call it weakness are to weak to do it.
@Nioclas6412 күн бұрын
@@kitmountaincat6102 When people are demanding apologies in bad faith as a way to publically crybully people, it is perfectly reasonable to refuse to apologize to the mob unless you actually did something to wrong them, the weaklings are the ones grouping together to harass a single person for no reason. Strong people can stand by themselves and set boundaries by telling the mob "No." Just look at the wizard game drama to know exactly what I mean, a full-scale bullying and harassment campaign over girls playing a Harry Potter game, where their justification was "YOU ARE LITERALLY KILLING PEOPLE" when they quite literally were just playing a video game.

the reason apologies fell out of fashion is because a bunch of omegas were embarrassed about being too weak to apologize because it takes strength and courage to do so, being the cowards that they are they started flexing on the internet to pretend that they are strong, by pretending that they alphas they can have the omegas below them bow, true betas and alphas know how to apologize and don't need to show their strength the loudest dog is usually the weakest!

As it should Jessie the only humans that observe it are the one too insecure to be even a beta, seriously no one cares unless they are insecure about their own social standing! The people i viewed as worthy of the alpha title don't even acknowledge the existence of such a title, they are too strong and smart and kind to care about such a silly thing!
