Best album of 2019 by a far stretch, and the best song on it. Saw them open for SunO))) last week, and live this song is bludeoning, mesmerizing, relentless, and cathartic--everything I want music to be. The buildup of tension is almost visceral.

So I've been listening to this song since it's release. So you should listen to me. This is pure brilliance. So it's OK to think that if you listen to Big|Brave you have better taste and depth of understanding than people who don't. In fact, you have an obligation to think so. We are all, indeed, in a Holding Pattern. Look up the origin of the term "holding pattern". It's also OK to be scared shitless.

Saw them live with sunn yesterday, this was the most straight forward drumming from her. Lot of inventive percussion. I think they were just going for a straight forward driving rhythm here.
