A key to becoming a “natural singer” is learning to ALLOW the inhale. As tempting as it is to tank up, we have to remember that over-filling won’t actually make the voice more powerful; to the contrary, most often it will invite unwanted tension and restrict your vocal freedom. Good stuff as usual, Eric. Forgive me for going off-topic, but if you don't mind, I have a quick question: is the lower chest range more or less capped? I'm one of those odd people who are actually interested in expanding my lower notes. It seems like the floor for me is E2-F2 and I can't get lower without resorting to things like chest-fry and subharmonics. Any quick pointers, if any? Love your content, bro. Peace.
