Taran is so good at these post season interviews. I love how he walks the HGs thru the season and moves and doesn’t sugar coat anything. Hopefully more HGs will come on.

Cliff played a pretty optimal game based on the cards he was dealt. I feel like if there was a flowchart depicting all of his game moves, he always made the correct choice, up until he convinced holly to throw the f4 HOH to Nicole. But even then, everyone assumed the end game comps would be more mental, giving him a better chance to make it to final 2 with Nicole. I definitely took issue with some comments he made about David and Kemi throughout the season but he objectively played one of the better games this season.

blob989 yeah I agree; I don’t think there’s a world where Cliff makes it to a higher position than 3rd and he nearly got there. Modern BB is just not set up for the older person to get to the end unless they’re a f2 partner from the very beginning of the game with the season’s greatest comp beast. But it’s also rare in modern BB for the obvious comp beast (someone like Michie) to be kept long enough to make a win-out run in the end game. I think Cliff may have got to f3 with Tommy there over Holly but that’s it. He wasn’t going to win. So, he did well and should walk away feeling content with his game. I just long for the BB days of old where anyone can win and where the focus is on the social experiment of different types of people from different walks of life having to live together and form bonds. That’s much more interesting than a physical game show. There’s so many of those if that’s what a particular contingent of the audience wants. I think most BB fans like the drama and social interactions best. Sigh. 🦉

The break in the interview was actually really nice because Part-One felt like a Full Post-Game Interview while Part-Two felt like a current Live Feed Update! This was a Well Done Podcast! 🙏👍 Only note, we could have used more Orwell 🦉 and a few mentions of some of the random BB shenanigans we enjoyed. It’s weird but there was something lovable about all of them... I’d be curious if Cliff would be interested in the stock-watch results but also would love to see him talk with Rob and get his take on the current season of Survivor! 💯
