Cliff is a Texas A&M graduate. If you watch Johnny Manziel, who was the Heisman Trophy Winner from Texas A&M, he’s doing Johnny’s money sign and shirt ripping. He does other Aggie stuff! So Gig’em! Whoop!

I was so excited last night that I could not wait for Tarans update. Finally, maybe we’ll get to watch Big Brother. I want to see them all turn on each other. Cliff can’t count on Jessica or Kat because they’ll just go to whoever is in power. Nicole’s placement will be interesting. Definitely want Christie on the block because she will melt down and rat everyone out. Epic!!!! My ideal moment would be Christie on the block and telling the veto holder to pull her down and pick whoever to replace but I want them to not use and just watch her crumble or pull whoever is next to her down and put up Tommy. That would be a good fight. Love you guys. Awesome show. 👏👏👏👏

Rather see Jack and Jackson on the block, relying on Christie to use her power and doesn't. That would be epic and end h8ful! Cheers

If a 6 shooter and nick or Bella’s on the block they could get a 5-5 tie and cliff will break the tie in his favor
@Sebadiah235 жыл бұрын
Cliff needs to be asking Kat and only Kat who she would put up from the 6, because her vote is 100% necessary to force a 5-5 tie vote if the DPOV is used successfully (meaning one of each group would be on the block, and cliff obviously can’t vote). Given that, and wanting to put up their weakest members just to increase chances of winning veto, you’d hope she’d say Sis and Christie (since she won’t say her friend Holly).

If I'm not mistaken, there are African versions of BB. One in South Africa and possibly others(?). I would be curious to know if there are white contestants on those shows and if there are the same issues.

Moded_Corroded I watched a few scenes from the "Big Brother" in one of those African countries (Uganda I think) and the whole house was African and this lady houseguest threw bleach in this guy houseguest's face so this was even worse then the American Big Brother. I guess going for a half million dollars can be contemptuous anywhere.

As someone who is African American, I don’t think that any of the contestants are racist. I do think that they haven’t been exposed enough to other people. I don’t think that the first person they’ll reach out to is going to be a minority. It’s going to be someone who looks like them because that’s what they’re comfortable with. The real problem or issue isn’t with the contestants, but with casting. Every season there are no more than two black people just to fill CBS’s racial quota (except for Celebrity Big Brother). To me that’s more insulting than not having any black people on the show period. If you look at other spin offs of Big Brother in other countries its the same thing. BBUK there’s always one black person. BBCAN always one or two black people with some other minority. Same with BBUS. It’s honestly pathetic. And it’s not just that. I’ve always had a problem with Big Brother’s casting because it’s so outdated. They only find people who they think will fill in certain tropes like the nerd, or the joke, or the pretty girl. They need to switch up the casting because it’s outdated and insensative.

100% agree with you! But also there are some pretty awful and mean people in the house which makes it even worse..
@yukonr5 жыл бұрын
i agree that casting is the problem but for a different reason, CBS cast more recruits than fans and the only seasons they see is what is given to them pre game, and that is usually the recent season(s) where gang mentality took over and now going into the house they think they have to make a big alliance and stick together, and recruits really only care about how many likes or followers they will get, or if it will help a modeling/acting career, where fans of the show know a small group of 4-5 kept secret could go farther, a good example would be the last BBCan and BB20, and they're aware of the camera's and their behavior and care about how they're viewed outside the house

Thank you for noting the major twist. It def is a disadvantage to minority contestants.

Reality shows work very hard to have stereotypes. The pretty blondes and brunettes. The or four fit handsome guys, the nerds, and the angry blacks(Kemi, said production told her to do a finger wave and put the black thing on with Bella). Taran makes it appear that minorities don't do well with the "twist" because they can play them well. I know that's not his intention but when he explains it on the podcast it's not said well. The issue is that Survivor and Big Brother, there is this whole familiarity thing that happens. The contestants have a tendency to connect or embrace people who they believe to be similar to themselves and who they believe share similar experiences or values. Which means that the minorities are generally the outcast.
@707ladytee5 жыл бұрын
cracker20 Well said; that’s exactly what it is. You would think in this day and age ppl would not be that way, as it appears they still are.
