I remember Tiffany and Hannah talked about sacrificing their personal games because they feared that this opportunity wouldn’t happen again. I remember how much Tiffany struggled between her own personal game and playing for the mission. The fact that the very next season proves why the Cookout formed is so very ironic. It shows that their fear that it couldn’t happen again was valid, and that’s upsetting.

Its just a game. Its not that deep enough to have a racist "mission". I hope Paloma is the first to leave. I think shes a beetch, but thats it. Shes being a catty little mean girl because she's jealous of Taylor getting attention from the guys. Shes insecure and btchy, but I dont think theres any racial motivation.
@tangyplanty
@tangyplanty 2 жыл бұрын
@@jannalam6861 So you feel like if she was white, they would have treated her the same? I agree that she may not be racist, but her being black does add the “cherry on top” of their actions. They were saying comments such as she would make a scene if she was placed on the block - making all sorts of prejudgments without knowing her. Definitely a lot of microaggressions happening towards Taylor.

@@tangyplanty Yes, I do believe this. Taylor had me rolling my eyes when she put her butt up on the pool table, and was trying way too hard to be liked by them. Then she went upstairs with the guys alone. Obviously this is going to paint a target on her back. If a White girl was doing that, she would be just as much of a target.

I am sooo angry watching this.... I'm angry with production; HOW can they let this go on? This is a failure to stop this mean girl mentality, but I also don't think Taylor should suffer for Paloma's behavior! It's not fair to her, she doesn't even know what this girl has done. Production should be removing Paloma and making sure Taylor is getting essential help if she remains in this house.

Pageant girl here. Taylor is a friend of a friend and as a white woman who could not possibly understand what she’s going through, my heart is absolutely broken for her. What Tiffany was curious about is true. Pageant girls are trained and refined to be poised, well spoken and confident. But we are also some of the kindest, non-judgemental and empowering women. It absolutely disgusts me to watch Paloma slander pageantry and stereotype Taylor as this ditsy fake pageant girl who is using her looks to get ahead because that’s not how we are at all. I want to thank you three so much for coming on here and having this conversation because it deserves to be talked about, and it needs to be talked about more.

I’m not a "pageant girl" but for anyone who is… hats off to ya!! From what I understand it’s not just sashes, make-up & bikinis… the discipline & dedication involved is something most of these blah-blah-blahs couldn’t handle for more than 4 days!! (So many have problems just acting human, trying to act like a true lady or gentleman would break their brains.) But my MAIN problem with this Paloma-Taylor thing is that Paloma had it out for her BEFORE she ever saw her!!! As soon as she saw/heard "pageant" pre-season, that was it… she was on a mission! But… I also can’t help but wonder what she would have done if this "pageant girl" was white, reddish hair, brown eyes, 5'4"…. not a POC or what society wants to classify what a Pageant Winner "should" look like. Now that Paloma has seen Taylor, is it everything that makes Taylor Taylor that pisses Paloma off or just certain parts of her clumped together?? - and YES!! I'm hoping Paloma gets it from every angle possible the SECOND she steps out that door! (Oh please Julie… ask her THOSE questions! Think of Jackson's lucky day & channel those type of questions!! Please!)

Well said. Paloma should be ashamed of herself. And I was going to vote for one of those backstage girls but not anymore. It is soo early in the game and these houseguests have been sooo horrible to Taylor already. I usually can't root for anyone this early in the season but now after this, I don't know if I'll ever be able to root for anyone. I'm a superfan of BB and I LOVE IT and I want this show to continue on for a long time(like sports). I look forward to it every year. But if stuff like this keep on happening on this show, (this is the 4th season) I'm afraid they aren't going to have it anymore. God forbid this is the last BB.

I’ve missed 3 episodes since Season 1 Episode 1, watch the feeds, listen to the daily RHAP podcasts plus the episode recaps, roundtable, etc… and other podcasts regarding BB - my family knows during BB season, I have no extra time for them… LOL (my son is grown so I’m not neglecting my kid… well, except when he was younger but he seemed to have turned out pretty decent so 👍🏼😉) - so I don’t want the show to be canceled either but it is *horribly sad* that they now have a chat with the HG about how to act regarding race, sexual orientation, etc. WHY does this even need to be done?!?!?! I used to criticize the cookouts other than Xavier for throwing away their individual games for an alliance but now with bb24 I completely understand why they stuck with the cookout. They wanted to send a message to viewers and players; they wanted to change the game for the better and pioneer a revolution for a more accepting and positive game show. They wanted to rewrite past histories of wrongful mistreatment of players by sticking together and, essentially, breaking the system; the purpose being that from their season onwards, all players can have an equal chance to win without any targeting or personal attacks or predetermined categorisations. Seeing that bb24 is now reversing all of this is just so frustrating and heartbreaking.

Not so fast! 👀 🧐 No offense but Tiff has already revealed herself to be an undercover b00tl!ck3r 👅 👠 who is definitely not as W0K3 as she pretends to be! It is one thing that she is getting more press for being the so-called brain child of the historic “Cookout Alliance.” She is getting more press than the actual winner Xavier 👔 who also spoke out against the r4ci4l microaggressions, big0try and actual r4cism of BB Season 24 against Michigan’s Beauty Queen -Taylor Hane -who was crying due to all the racism and self-hate this season! My thoughts: Tiffany is suspect after saying last week that she didn’t think this season Bl4ck houseguests should form a Cookout Alliance 2.0, which she still claims to be the brain child of! Her words: “Take what I did and run with it but don’t [blah blah]!” Tiff is sounding like B0ricu4n Monte 🇵🇷 from BB Season 24, which is definitely not a good look for her because we all know that every season of Big Brother has an all-wh!t3Alliance, except Tiffany’s season! Why would Tiffany want to shatter the norm but then not use the same strategy that worked? Why be individualistic while other r4cial groups are willing to take a group approach for this latest season? I am sure that more people than just me can sense that non-FBA rider energy of Tiffany on 🔛 this podcast -just like how The Cookout sensed her bad vibez! She better keep switching up 🆙 for the better! She code switches when Derrick and the Cody are around but speaks all conscious when these Bl4ck Cookout members are around! I tell you that she is just like B0ricuan Monte 🇵🇷 from Big Brother Season 24! I don’t trust Tiffany! Sorry not sorry! Go watch Derrick’s last podcast to see how Tiffany code-switches!

I’m so happy to have bb alum like them now. Watching these three strong, powerful women last summer was so inspiring for me and so many other black people as well. The entire mission that the cookout accomplished was something that will be remembered in bb history. It’s so sad to see the steps backwards being taken by this years cast, and the obvious lack of competent casting procedures that were taken to cast these current bb houseguests (weirdos). I’m sending Taylor lots of love and light, and much like Tiffany and Hannah said actually HOPE she is evicted this Thursday so she can leave such a toxic environment. I agree with Azah that colorism needs to be a topic that is made aware of during the casting/sequester process and can only hope moving forward the production team makes the necessary steps needed to make this game fair and fun for everyone, ESPECIALLY black women. The finale night outfit situation is a prime example of when someone doesn't like or vibe with you, they will find ANY and EVERY thing to pile on. It's a confirmation bias. It has always been a lose lose situation from day one for Taylor due to the reasons you all stated (colorism, etc.) As great as the Cookout was, I do believe it will be difficult for the non black cast members to ignore the potential for that to happen again. So I also think subconsciously they are trying to find any little way to dismantle any type of black alliance. It's subtle.

And she spoke facts about CBS changing the cast because of all the protesting and the Black Lives Matter movement after George Floyd’s horrific murder in 2020. But look at what they are allowing to happen on the show now…and blaming the cookout is BS! Hold people accountable for their actions is how I feel. There’s NO reason they should be treating 1 female this horribly EVER! I could go on and on but I appreciate the conversation and I do hope more changes are made because this is terrible!

I am sick and tired of all these black men in the house and outside the house thinking that a white woman is going to carry them somewhere! The only thing white women are going to do to them is turn on them when something goes down! Taylor is playing and being strong as she can be and it wouldn’t surprise me if she ended up being America’s favorite player

Let’s be real, THE COOKOUT WORKED BECAUSE OF TIFFANY AND THE OTHER WOMEN!!! 👏🏾🗣 The guys were CONSTANTLY whining/complaining and looking for a reason to jump ship! They get a milligram of credit for sticking around in the end, but majority goes to the women!! And maybe a decent amount to Kyland. 🤷🏾‍♀️

this was a conversation that was very needed. Hannah was one of my favorites last year and I love how woke she is and the way she articulates things in a way it really makes sense to me. also Azah bringing up colorism which as a black woman I didn't hear of until about a few years ago. very good points. you ladies are doing gods work, I love it

Part of me is really hoping this backstage twist turns the tables on the eviction and sends Paloma home. Having a twist screw over the best positioned player in the house is usually a bit too extreme (cough BB11 & BBCAN4 cough), but given the cruel and boring way Paloma plans to use her positioning it would be poetic justice.

The producers are already telling Alyssa and Daniel (HOH) to try to start afresh with the Bl4ck houseguests because of the current era backlash 🔛on Twitter for the wh!t3Houseguests’ mistreatment of “Taylor” Hale 👑👸🏿! One person already admitted that the producers implied that they would give the r4cist houseguests a good edit.

In BBUK they do this. Houseguests that say and/or do inappropriate things (racial slurs, violence, etc) get brought into the Diary Room and are given a warning. The other houseguests are shown footage of what lead to the warnings. Second offense they are immediately removed from the game. US and Canada needs to adapt this policy.

I love me black women. I’m Italian and my first wife was a sister. Amazing person. We were young and it lasted 12 years. We’re still good friends and we also have 2 grown kids together. Beautiful people love em. As far as big brother, in my opinion CBS should cancel this show before somebody gets hurt. This country still is full of racism which makes me puke 🤢 I love all my black brothers and sisters out there!
