The Tony Lovstuen buck taken near Albia, Iowa back in 2003 was once the world record for hunter taken whitetail. This amazing non-typical scores 307 5/8 inches net, with 38 scorable points. Live photos of the deer ran in the magazine in 2003 as word spread of a "walking world record", and once Tony shot the buck he appeared on the cover of North America Whitetail in 2004.
