This is what's wrong with hunting now! At one time it almost anyone could have went on a whitetail hunt anywhere in America at a somewhat of a bargain. The hunting shows like realtree outdoors and a few others ruined hunting for the people that hunting alot during the season, now we have doctors and lawyers and elites hunting a few days a year and paying for a big fence deer or farms that are bigger than most county's, I've seen affordable land leases go to unaffordable in 15 years and now game land is nearly gone in some states. This became a rich man's sport and it's so commercialized now. I have a friend who will buy any gadget that is sold from the new scent killing gadgets and he still gets blown out by deer constantly, we can't hunt like the people who pray big money to get a deer they seem on the internet. I love it when guys kill free roaming deer that gets in the record books now that's doing something. If people wouldn't pay for the play pen bucks they would have to drop there prices or go out of business they couldn't pay for a team of biologists and dozens of other things, I know it takes money to make money and some things as hunting can have big effects on the little person who can't pay for a lease and now no one rarely lets you hunt there land so we the ones who eat sleep breath hunting can no longer hunt.

Exactly these tv /KZbin channels of killing moster deer everyday that your regular private land doesn't really have just creates drive for that moster buck so here comes your gold digger deer farmers and land owners for these rich hunters to pay top dollar it's all about money and everyone knows fake deer mostly they don't get that big in the wild with hunting pressure

Edward Sadler, These are breeders looking to add new bloodlines into their herds. A person would be crazy to butcher these big Buck Stags! These Bucks are to put in with their Does. What makes deer hunting exciting is the fact that its a wild deer. That deer can go anywhere it wants. If you take a shot and miss you'll feel awful because you may never see that deer again. @@sbl9467 as a hunting farm, they'r feeding the elite. Yes, they are making more than the animals are reasonably worth, but you can't blame them and it's still ethical farming. When you can just buy venison from your local butcher, you'll find way less poachers.

@@babybluehashyo these deers at the farm are not meant for feeding your family. They are genetically bred for their antlers. No reasonable person (elite or not) would buy a $30k to $60k deer to eat. One thing I can’t understand is that what the bucks that were raised on a farm are fed differently than what they would forage in the open lands which has a large bearing on the size of the deer and their rack. If a person buys a deer at these auctions and turns it loose, aren’t they going to see a reduction in the size of their racks? I can’t imagine any buyers turning any loose into the wild as it very, very probable that someone else will take the very deer that they released. Unless buyers release the deer on a fenced in property.

Same applies to dogs , cattle , pigs or any other domesticated version of animals . Chances are if you have a dog are unless breed your own dog that the mother and father of your dog is brother and sister , uncle and niece , mother and son , cousins or any possible combination that you can think of . Breeders care about making money and nothing else . Surprisingly enough it also happens in nature as the animals of opposite sex of the same breed aren't going to travel to far just to find a partner that's not related to them to breed with .

So, I've been hunting for over 35yrs since childhood. Mostly waterfowl, upland birds, few hogs and coyotes. Decided to try deer hunting this past season since a buddy invited me during anterless season. It was fun, got some meat and got home bought me a crossbow. I have access to 1000acres which I hunt already but seeing this is just sickening. I've heard guys tell me they pay thousands for a lease to hunt and the drama that has happened and I just don't get it...I thought the point of hunting was to harvest meat, not bragging rights. That's what the family jewels are for.

Probably Mennonite. They are using a microphone, which the Amish can't do. Mennonite can use modern technology for work, but still live like the Amish at home.

This doesn’t feel right. Must be a rich man’s thing. I’m happy with a good buck that is representative of my area.

They can't kill a good deer on their own so they buy one they must be afraid of the dark because every time you see someone in Texas they got someone with them

This should be illegal. You ruin the nobility of the whitetail deer. I'm no animal activist. I've been a deer hunter for over 40 years. But it's disgusting what you're doing with these deer
