Being a Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineer I truly believe what Rangnath sir was almost right about basics physics but here two important physics law came into picture Newton 1st law of motion and Newton's 3 rd law coromandel express locomotive as soon as it hit the sidding towards the goods train at more than 100+ kmph the locomotive Newton's 1st law of motion comes into picture which disturbs the static goods coaches and goods coaches would've derailed atleast few and coromandel locomotive coach coupling would have snached which would've resulted in derailment of of the first coach in main line since first coach derails at high speed and the coach wheels hits ground at high speed Newton's third law comes into picture where grounds reacts high resulting in bounce of coach and falling into other track which causes same effect on other coaches of the coromandel express until all couches comes to a complete stop next is YPR-HOWRAH SF-express which enters at high speeds and rams the coaches of coromandel express coaches which is already lying on it's track again Newton's 1st law of motion but it would've been a mega disaster than the present if the coromandel express coaches comes into contact with the passing Howrah express say for example if the Howrah express was passing during the time of incident and if the coromandel express coach flies and hit Howrah express middle section like 13 or 14 th coach entire Howrah express would've fallen down to earth in side ways

Have some sense? Even if there was Kavach accident would still happen. Train was at 127 kmph and the Coromandel was diverted to the loop line instead of main line. Should be human error.

Coromandel train runs at 100KM/hr in the non-stopping stations.. Its one of the fastest trains in our route... I travel in this route from Kharagpur to Bengaluru very often from IIT Kharagpur...
