Are you calling Catholic priests liars? Or Catholicism is a lie? Don't know man but the Church is the Pillar and Foundation of Truth (1 Tim 3:15) and it's really important (Matthew 18:17). Christ chose Peter as the first Pope (Matthew 16:18-19) and ever since then was the start of apostolic succesion. As corrupt as the majority of the clergy may be, the thing here is that that's not what Catholicism teaches. Oh, we're also very deeply rooted in history and the Bible is a Book compiled by us. The Apostles had no Bibles, they taught orally and did write some writings when able to. We compiled such writings and from there did it give birth to the Bible. For centuries, there was no Bible. It was only in the 4th century that the Bible came to existence.

A tree is known by its fruits...what church started and kept up schools, hospitals, orphanages, monasteries and convents, invested in the arts and sciences, formed the best and holiest people in history, and kept alive and faithful the truth of Christ throughout the ages?

The Holy Church compiled the Holy Bible, the Holy Church is the one to put chapters and verses on the Bible. The Mother Church is the one who interpreted the Bible, in short the Bible is a Catholic book.
