In 2007 I was quietly fishing a Surrey river when I noticed that four or five Roe deer, that I had been keeping an eye on, were all transfixed, staring intently to my right. I followed their gaze and, to my astonishment, saw the head of a pale tawny Puma above a large clump of Marsh grass, ears flattened. To turned to look directly at me for a few seconds before bounding off. The deer immediately took off in the opposite direction. It's body was about a yard long as was its tail. I've been back many times since then and never seen anything again, but I've noticed that I seldom see any deer these days either, where there were once always a small group feeding.

I cannot believe this topic is not huge in the UK, i was lucky to have about a 20-30 second look at a puma before it jumped over the bushes. In Dorset during the first lockdown. i did try to get a video but my camera quality is below average. Keep the videos coming Grizzly! do not give up yet.

It’s unbelievable when you think about the Lynx’s size, that it could take down a sheep 😮. Beautiful creatures and thank goodness he was found safe and well. ❤ Really enjoying these videos, they’re very well put together and really interesting. Would really like to see more.

It sounds incredible, but have you seen them take a deer? Savage! Really fast, really aggressive!

I came across one in Bath , since 2010, 2013 . I was with my son, it was an area I know extremely well. Years previously I spotted one, and discussed how to measure it's height. Not that I needed any convincing, as it stared me down for about 3 mins ( felt like a lifetime) it was a Black Leapord. It was beautiful , turned to leave, then spun back around and watched me for another minute. It was in the perfect spot for rabbiting. I cried for about 3 months, felt so so sorry for it. Felt pissed off with humans for breeding it . Haunts me still. I knew the hedge ,and went back, and checked the height cautiously. Needlessly, because I 💯 knew that standing about 20 ft from me was a beautiful , albiet terrifying big cat !

@UFO Jim absolutely not, and after further investigation, it transpires that I wasn't alone in seeing it! Including some nurses, coming out of the RUH after a night shift ! In the carpark ! Thanks for the comment though . Happy New year

I think these big cats do exist, but they're not necessarily dangerous. They're probably quite nervous of humans

seen a servile out in the wilds in wales not a man eater but not something you see everyday. and only 15 to 20 ft away when i was parked up in the car so had a perfect view that was back in 1999. so when i got a computer the following year was able to do a search on big cats uk. and was i able to pick out what i saw

Thanks Just Vin. Nice to see they’re appreciated as were funding these interviews out of our back pocket. There may not be a return of investment financially but I’m personally enjoying discovering new things within the subject.

@@TheBiomeProject It is very much appreciated, I did think that you may keep these interviews back for use solely for a future television programme (which would have been perfectly understandable) and grateful I didn't have to wait.

I lived on a derelict farm some years back & saw what i believed to be a large black cat carefully stepping through the long wet grass in the field late one moon lit night after heavy rain. My dog, which was tied up, noticed the cat & kicked off agressively. The cat jumped off in to the woodland running alongside the field. The farm was a mile from the local town.

Grizzly Bournemouth ..Hi, i have only now seen your message.. The notifications on KZbin don't seem too reliable. What would you like to know about my sighting? It was a fairly brief sighting.. although not too long before this i would hear what sounded like the cry calling of either cubs or maybe it was the adult calling the cubs.. if there were any. I did not see any cubs.. I just remember the similar sound i had heard that larger cubs do make. I never went down to investigate at the time as the place was quite isolated. It was day light, very early morning. Not long after the actual sighting my dog broke from the long rope (he had to be on when i couldn't supervise him) & he was found in the thicket next to where the sighting was, the rope had tangled in the shrubs & on hearing his bark i had to crawl on my knees, at night with a light to rescue him. He had obviously seen something and broke loose.. but i didn't know what he had chased after.

We were in Brean Sands once and whilst driving to our Caravan My Dad and I saw a medium size Animal which clearly looked like a melanistic fox but my Dad shouted Panther lol and he swears to this day it was a Black Panther.

Very creditable sighing by an off duty police officer called Derek Hignett that is worth looking into. A big cat expert investigated and stated it was definitely a big cat of some variety, definitely not a household cat of any form

If they do exist then there is really no reason for anyone to panick... They're not going to start attacking once their existence has been confirmed! Personally I think I saw one when out with my dog about 20 years ago... It was my dogs reaction that made me think it was a big cat and not a pet...

I reported a big cat. Maybe puma in derby. It was sniffing at my pigeon shed. It was night time. My pigeons were going wild in the shed. My window was open so I heard the pigeons flapping their wings in the night my kitchen roof covers the garden so was unable to see the grounds so I went downstairs and as I stepped in the garden and looked towards the left it seen me. It then scaled my back wall which is 7ft it jumped up and ran off into the allotments. The allotments are huge but I live in derby. If you type st Chad's road you will see the allotment on aerial view . It's called glebe allotments derby. I phoned police. Two cops turned up and didnt beleive me. There have been sightings in Derbyshire but this was in the urban areas. If a professional tells me that pumas or whatever they call them only may exist in countryside then that's not true. This one was here. Go to Google and please view. Message me back for those who want to speak to me. Puma or leopard whatever they call it . When this thing jumped over the wall it made a loud thud noise. It had weight to it. Those who will shrugg this off fine. But this world isnt made for debunkers. This world has much to offer

all these years, and still no hard evidence it seems. al these hunters posting at dusk/dawn with scope cameras. and wildlife photographers posting at the same hours. sitting still, waiting. all over the countryside. nothing...?

Even more to the point both hunters and wildlife photographers, conservationists, amateur naturalists and so on, are putting out camera traps and yet not one has ever captured convincing footage of a genuine big cat, and yet all over the world where wild cat species live, people get great trail camera footage of them, lots of people insist there are pumas here, but whilst there are great trail camera footage compilations from the USA of pumas, there are none from here in the UK.

Mate... where getting loads of sights up here in Kent all the time ? Especially in my area (medway towns) loads of food items. I’ve been following the local deer heards in the middle of a major human populated town .... and if I was to ask the local dog walks if we have any deer there answers are normal “ naaa mate, no deer around here”. And there standing over deer tracks !!! Sometimes it could be right under your noses, but if you don’t know what your looking for you don’t know ?

Savannah cats are NOT dangerous animals, Yes they are larger (not always) than domestic cats, this is another example of an ill informed individual unfortunately giving the breed a bad name. Savannah cats are now a Tica registered breed just as hundreds of other pedigreed cats. The people who deem them dangerous, have no experience or knowledge about them.
