The thing I've wanted most from the start: Starship-carrier Frigates: a type of Frigate where you can store ships outside of your primary lineup. It could even align nicely with the current freighter specs: C-class: 3 ships B-class: 6 ships A-class: 9 ships S-class: 15 ships (a lil' bonus for max rank). This could also be coupled with hanger-pads as a ground structure. Basically, a "launch pad" where you can assign a ship to be "stored" and not count against your primary ship limit. And, last but not least: A starship-materializer Freighter module similar to the exocraft materializer. Basically, if you have your freighter in orbit, you can manage your primary starship roster, send new ships you find up to your fleet for storage, etc. Between the Starship-carrier frigates and the ground-based "hanger" storage/launch pads, you could have in theory an unlimited number of starships in your collection!

I have often thought we needed some type of hangar where we can store ships as you suggest. I'd love to be able to have all my ships together on one save. I play across 10 different saves/iterations and have filled up the ship roster on several of those.

Even after playing for about 5 months now , I'm still amazed that everything you see in this video is possible in EVERY single version. I play on a Nintendo switch Lite. The resolution is less, the lighting effects are not as good, frame rate is inconsistent, but in every way that really matters, it's the same game. The idea that "Hello Games" has managed to do this, even cross platform save file data, across all platforms, including the comically underpowered hardware of Nintendo Switch cannot be overstated. It's a technical marvel beyond anything from the triple AAA game studios and it's from a far smaller studio with fewer resources. It's wonderful to see. Anyways, great video

We need a ship hanger we can build on base to store more ships, and a zoo like area for more of our creatures, plus a tank to put the fish we catch in from fishing i know I'd fish more not crazy about it just being a nanite thing, also make those garage doors bigger/or dynamic so we can comfortably drive our exocrafts in, they are only person sized at the moment. The creatures zoo could be added to the settlement and help with happiness and certain items like eggs and such dependent on the creatures seed adds different values to happiness and helps bring in new settlers to help increase size and rank, the tank could be a freighter/ main base thing.

The increased mod support is encouraging. The orange Sentinel ship made me jump. I found the same ship with slightly different landing gear earlier last weekend. Mine was Class C when I found it and the supercharged slots are separated after upgrading it to S Class.

If they can get this right, modding is going to explode. 1. Player-designed battles. a. Player designed dogfights with options for endless combat and ship arrangements (more fighters, higher tier enemy ships, etc). b. Player designed larger scale frigate-to-frigate combat. c. Endless ground combat with player designed difficulty/density. d. Reliable player versus player options. 2. Being able to finally acquire ships from expired expeditions. 3. Fully customizeable ships of EVERY type (what we've been begging for since forever). 4. Better dedicated private server support. My only concern is the increasing support for modding diminishing the accomplishments of all the amazging builders out there who've created masterpiece bases in spite of significant restrictions.

i did sent to them this actually. i told them there's 2 things the entire community want. Star Runner ship and to have more ships than 12. since they did bring back star runner ship and they even released another white and gold one at game awards. i think we will see more ships space soon

hello, I'm fairly new to the game and had a question. how do you get comm stations to appear on your screen/hud when flying around a planet? i'm trying to look for new ships/multi's but unlike every video that ive seen I still cannot see any prompts for previously placed comm stations

the comm stations is left by another player placed it. in some planets you will have it. marked next to location. and you fly to it from the orbit

how to go to my earliest planet on same galaxy after u go into couple of black holes, now custom way point wont work, cos it wont go that far anymore, and i have no base point in there also! now how to get the planet address from my visited system discovery list so i can go into portal? and some of the system i never discover any planet inside, i just discover the system only and then i move to another system so how i also go to those system also?

Again, more ship slots or something like hangars to place more ships. Better build System ( No build cage Dome thing , all Parts fit together...) Base building is nice but difficult. turn off the Dome forever! and why parts can not rotate and fit ? BTW is it possible to send Sean a video to show the Problems?

What's your ship in this video? I want one just like it! Picked up a black ship from your old videos that looks a lot like the 3rd one in this video. Don't know if I can use mods with GOG. What mods do people use? I have to recharge my portal everytime I use it now. Did they change that in the game or is there something wrong with my game? I don't use my portal just for the fun of it anymore. Too annoying.

i think all mods right now not working after this new update. it will take time until we see mods again. but mods can help improve the gameplay a lot

You always had to recharge your portal if it's connected to biofuel machine, unless you have source of power from electric pylons then that might be some sort of bug probably, just delete it and built a new one.

i think so but it seems impossible to find right now in the update. they changed how things was found before in updates. and it will take time until we know for sure what's new. they usually don't include the big features in Experimental patch, it happened in early 2024 when Dreadnought freighter became a claimable in the game

Unfortunately, adding support for mods may mean that Hello Games is going to shift the creation of game content to the No Man's Sky community, and stop fully supporting the game. Of course, this is just a theory, but I think everyone should be on their guard.

don't worry. the updates arrive on all platforms as soon as it's stable . the game test updates first, they test stuff to make sure the update is stable before release it to public on all platforms. they want make sure everyone is having a great time enjoying the updates without any bugs when it release
