Seeing the black sees barracuda on the land gave me an idea. What could be cool in the new expanded amusement park is incorporating the ship somehow. Whether that be a stage, a ride, or even a restaurant. If you're feeling really bold you could even make the ship part of a bumper boat attracting in the amusement park.

I think the amusement park is way too big... I would move the skyscrapers where the beach was... Because the skyscrapers block the view of the park and if you build more skyscrapers where the trailer park is right now, you will block even more the amusement park. (You should have skyscrapers on the left front and back, amusement park back centered, Ninjago back right, then city in front right to left) 😉👍

That amusement park is way too big. It just doesn’t make sense. Its almost as large as the city itself. I would personally make the actual city a lot bigger and not have an amusement park at all, but I’m not a fan of those sets anyway and I get that some people are. Also, its your city so you can do with it as you like :). I do like the fact that you moved the beach to the ‘sea’, having all that water in one location. Making that rock formation the divider between the beach and docks makes sense. Also getting rid of the second train track is a good choice. You get so much space doing that. Using those lowered tables (of the beach area) for Ninjago city would be perfect and makes way more sense to me. You can still have the platform, just make it a mountain with some fancy modulars up there. Actually, what would be even better is indeed a waterfall, as you mentioned, which would go down to the area where the amusement park is now. Lower those tables instead of the ones at the beach area. Add Ninjago city there (in a lowered section) and move the amusement park to the corner where the beach was. If you really want an amusement park that large however. I would suggest to add some Star Wars sets to it. It would open up space on your shelves and cool themed ‘rides’ to your amusement park.

He could rebuild the train depot / cargo area and turn it into a terminus station with tracks running out of the city (off the table), (and possibly a busy station square area next to the residential district). That way, he still has a place to show off his trains, but the track running around the city could be removed.

Just some suggestions, some of which have been said in comments already: 1. Remove/reduce theme park. Some of the attractions are out of scale. Can convert an area to be a fun-zone if you want go karts, can add in Disney MOCs to a mini golf area. 2. Push the skyscrapers towards the back, spread them apart and add a plaza in between. 3. Create a transition of Industy/City/Suburb/outdoors. May involve moving the trains into the city. Can have right side big city, transitioning into suburb and into outdoors all the way to the left. 4. Move Ninjago City from downtown. Can possibly go in the back corner where the train is. Imagine a tall mountain lake with Ninjago City on top, with forest area surrounding and campground below, transitioning into the beach. 5. Add in some 45 deg tables in a few spots so everything isn't right angles. Near hospital and beach. With all that said I love everything you're doing here, with or without any of these suggestions. I love that you're not afraid of making big changes. Keep up the good work Bricksie!

Two suggestions for your city: first you could place your ewok village in the park next to the tree house (it probably would fit nice and it would shorten the hight difference between the trees and the three house) and second there is a great looking costume shop modular alternative built moc on rebrickable for the Disney castle; I think it would go together beautifully with your other modulars. I'm not sure that removing the full train loop is a good idea. If you do so, you have to throw the switch twice for each time the train goes around the Lego city. And you either motorize the switch and put sensors so it's done automatically, or it will be a pain to have the train go around

Okay, obligatory "it's your city and you do you". Here's my thoughts. I'm glad that you're moving the beach and campground away from the city. They don't belong there, really. If a city had a beach that close to it, it'd be made of giant hotels and resorts, not offices and apartments. (That said, that's not a bad idea..) I don't like the amusement park being so huge though. I get the point of having it, for sure, because you gotta do something with those sets. So here's the layout I'd suggest. where the trainyard is now, I'd put the campground. where the docks and beach are, I'd keep those there. where the factory is, and the Simpsons House, I'd have the trainyard (I actually like that configuration it has now) and the factory. Run a train line to the docks so cargo can be transferred from boat to train. where the police station and such is, I'd have small residential and commercial buildings. where the campground currently is in this video, I'd have more residential leaning toward commercial. where the beach used to be, I'd put either the amusement park or the Ninjago, but not raised to a higher level. where the amusement park (Disney Castle) is, I'd have the other of that or Ninjago. I think the maze of modulars you have is cool, but it needs to be interrupted by something. Like, a tall MOC, something that's not just the same height as the rest of it, or some level of customization all through it. (giving it a 'lived in' look) I think I'd keep the highrises where they are, but fill that back corner where Ninjago is with more MOCs. That's how I'd lay it out. But hey, my city only has 15 buildings, all on top of dressers or worse, so.. :P

The Amusement Park is too big. The Roller Coaster can stay where it is in the Video. Take the straight train tracks out of the Corner (behind the Roller Coaster), go tight around the Coaster and put the Camping ground one baseplate to the back (I think it is going to be one hole baseplate).

Move the campground to where the train yard is and vice versa.. And move everything that's in the ninjago theme away from the rest of the city, it doesn't look right.. personally i think the amusement park is way too big and if im completely honest the city layout doesnt really warrant having an amusement park in general. i reckon you could have the skyscapers back where the amusement park is. i would expand the campground and have the blacksmith at the back with a forest leading up to it. move the dirt road back a bit and also the campground can slide back just. then i wouldve lined the road with some more trees to keep it obscure from the road. residential should move to where the skyscrapers are now. then have your yet to be built ranch leading into the trainyard and boat docks.

I'm not a huge fan of the amusement park in the city. As large as this city is, there is just so many buildings and roads, as well as future sets that would need to be added. At some point some hard choices will have to be made of what stays and what goes. I'm happy to see Bricksie willing to do massive overhauls of the city. Combining the 2 bodies of water is something I was hoping would be done, I just didn't expect it, and so soon. I like the idea of the skyscrapers back where the park is. They can be spaced apart properly and have a plaza in between.
