we filed an SOWP application by July 22..we opted for a one year master program in Crandall university..as they didn't mentioned any time frame for this limitation will this impact our application or no need to worry??we worried much after this announcement.. kindly advise

SOWP is only eligible if the primary applicant is employed in either management, professional occupations or sectors with labour shortages :)

Just stop issuing new international student visa and temporary work visa for now. Unahin mga nandito na sa Canada, mga permanent resident and citizens na naghahanap ng work. Nung isang lingo galing ako sa downtown sobrang nag deteriorate na ang lugar madami homeless. Kahit intake ng refugee dapat bawasan. Ayusin muna housing infrastructure, job opportunities and itaas sweldo. Mahirap din pag sobra dami immigrants.

Hindo po. IELTS is the test. CLB is how the test is measured. IELTS and CELPIP are both measured in CLB. Hope this helps 😄

Hindi ninyo magagamit yan. Pagdating mo dito back to zero ka. Kailangan ipaupgrade mo ang educations mo kung gusto mo ganun trabaho. Pero may payo ako. Kung makapunta ka dito. Mag apply ka sa constructions malaki din suweldo doon. Tapos kapag may pera ka na. Upgrade mo pinag aralan mo.

Wala pong naka indicate sa IRCC announcement as of now. Pero generally, Academic IELTS for student visa, General IELTS for immigration :)

Good day po Maam a new subscriber from Scarb. Ontario.. nakaka shock talaga itong mga pabago2 na IRCC policy changes kasi apektado tayong mga IS and other TFW. Ask ko lang pala ng insight regarding sa status ko po. If Occupational health and Safety managment (health safety specialist position) po since healthcare related sya pasok pa rin ba sya sa labor-shortages ng canada? and if so eligible parin mabigyan ng 3 yrs pgwp?(provided pasok sa CLB 5) yan kasi plan kong kunin as second program for winter 2025. Hello 😀 If you think there is a demand sa job na yun, i would say sure! Kaso hindi pa kasi nag announce officially kung ano yung mga jobs na may shortage. I would say the safest the option would be nursing, psw/healthcare aide. Sorry, hope this helps a bit!

I recommend mag network po kayo. I used to work sa bank and I got that job thru referrals and network. Most work sa observation ko either referrals or internal candidates nakukuha. No sugar coating, mahirap kasi marami ang nag apply sa isang work. May mga work pero possible di naman tugma sa line ng skills. Makakuha man work auaunod na issue sapat ba ang sweldo Para sa cost of living sa Canada plus kung may susuportahan ka na pamilya.

Try going sa mga employment centers, nung bago ako dito years ago lumapit ako sa employment centers natulungan nila ako makakuha work. Usually meron mga ganyan sa bawat city government funded yan free service.
