No, not necessarily 😂 people leave because the trails that aren’t supposed to be like that were left like that from the off season. Not taken care of. Not raked off for opening day. Love me a good raw, loose trail, when it’s supposed to be that way... It’s like if Whistler trail crew never raked off A-line or fixed anything after winter...

Cracked my yeti sb150 from rock kick up last weekend up there. Back up next weekend, guess I’ll have to bring the aluminum dh bike this trip. Still rocky but at least when I was up they had a bit of rain to knock the dust down. Trails definitely need raked though.

@@Blake_Cherubini won’t change unless the budget for the summer activities increase. When I booked the lady on the phone wanted to “make sure I knew when I was booking for because nothing was open that time of year.” I had to calmly inform her I was up for the bike park and didn’t care what shops/restaurants were open. She still seemed confused. 😂 It’s a shame they are so ski-centric because the variety of trails is hard to beat. Wouldn’t take much to make this a top notch park on the east coast. Enjoyed the content as always. Hope to run into you guys out there sometime and grab a party lap with you! 🤘🏼🚵🏻‍♂️

Absolutely agree with you. Snowshoe has the potential to be the most badass bike park around and potentially the best in the country. Would love to see them expand the trail crew and maintain what they have for now rather than building another new trail... hope to see you there sometime!!🤘

It’s more of an annoyance of the lack of effort rather than the conditions of the trails themselves. Was it still fun to ride, yes. Got no problem with dodging boulders and loose gravel but I just wish there was more pride in the trails. Take a rake to em and get them cleared off for the riders.🤷‍♂️

Great video, buds! You know what's weird too? I rode 53 miles on that weekend, Saturday and Sunday, with clips pedals for the very first time, and let me tell you... F*CK flat pedals! Especially with how loose Snowshoe was! I've never seen it that loose and dry! Also, thank God my bike is aluminum, it took that rock strike like a champ and I didn't even know about it until next day when I was cleaning it! JB weld to fill in the gap, and boom! You won't even know it's there! 🤘

I went to high school with a guy that works at Snowshoe should I send him this video? I can give you an excuse for him at least we grew up in Southwest Mississippi, needless to say but we don't have mountains down here. I was always into BMX along with some of my other friends growing up and he didn't ride with us and it was like 30 people in our class so it surprised me to find out that he now makes a living with bikes. I just looked him up and he's the former bike trails crew forman, so maybe it's not him that's fucking ya'll up on the trails up there. It says now he's the supervisor of competitive events, so maybe he can put a fire under someone's ass next time you're there show him this comment and tell him I'm a fan of yours and that his old buddy Spock said to get his former crew in line.
