Pledge ships have permanent warranty the warranty doesn't end just the insurance

Yeah, 10 years of "level 1" insurance. CIG found a way to further grift LTI holders.

It is a good take from CIG to make all ships that were purchased to be eternally possible to be reclaimed. It seemed unreasonable, probably illegal, to go away with something you used money for.

They pretty much said this from the start. Lifetime is not supposed to be a big deal. If they are smart, insurance should be cheap even for large ships. Capital might be more of a cost but should not be too high.

@@TheElcentralen You are right, alas, they also market LTI as a super valuable thing. Not everyone has the big picture context and it easily causes confusion... I also hope they make insurance for level 1 tier (at least) super cheap

You can renew your insurance in game once 1.0 gets here- and with no reset, you shouldn’t have any issues paying to renew it.

I had bought my starter ship 2 years ago this December and i have been trying to find out what will happen on the 23rd of December. Every video and bit about insurance was about the v1 insurance. None mentioned that it doesn't apply at the moment while in alfa. I couldnt find how to renew or extend. So thats a bit off my mind. I would have just started the video with that info 😂

To be honest this seems a soft way to introduce another subscrption service. It kinda makes sense. Their statement of not selling ships for RL money at launch is shaky at best

There’s literally zero changes to insurance. It’s been stated for a decade your insurance would cover the stock ship and nothing more.

New player here. Do you buy insurance when you buy a ship in game? How do I insure in game purchased ships?

at the moment all ships brought in game or on web site will be replaced by claiming at the asop terminals insurance will only matter once 1.0/proper game release comes then you will be able to buy insurance currently there is no way to buy insurance as it is not needed untill the game is released

When I look through ships on the eebsite Im not seeing LTI (Lifetime Insurance) anymore. How does one go about it nowdays?

LTi is actually for CIG, you pay real money to give CIG life time insurance that they will stay afloat. 😂 Seriously, unless something drastically change in way the game is both designed and delivered, LTi is the least of my worries. I want an insurance to guarantee an actual delivery of the game as originally promised. Not some big old buggy pile of Sh_t.

Actually I paid less for ally LTI, for example, warbound pulse was cheaper than the normal pulse. Then I CCU all the way to C2 and it costs less than a third than if you buy C2 straight with limited insurance.

Is custom paint skins bought off the external web site covered by LTI or does it have to have additional insurance coverage?

It doesn't matter where you bought it. It belongs to you. But i think Paint will go to level 2 insurance.

I didn't play this update 3.24.2, but i checked my ships bought in game and again i lose the Buccaneer that o bought 2 times in game already since its always gone with updates, and this time also a Arrow 😮, when o did all i should do before new update 😞 So i didn't play this update yet! Now i want understand is i have 3 ships pledge in store and if o remember i have 6 months of insurance, question is , if i will lose my ships because they dont have LTI and i have to spend more money to get the LTI or i don't need it because its bought with real money ? even if they only have 6 Months of insurance? And when this insurance thing will be in game ??

o7 I explained in the video, when the insurance is gone, and you lose ship if it is bought with real money you can always get it back but it will cost more.

I like the “new” insurance. It good for pledged ships (securing some cash for CIG,cause they NEED them to operate now and post 1.0) It add meaning to death, since u can’t just suicide and claim new ship without consequence. It’s good for in game economy because it avoids production deadlock, i mean, if C2 is a highly demanded ship, and most player buy them in game I will, virtually, never get without customers, simply because insurance give back money and not the ship itself, so they need to spend that money to actually buy a new ship, so I can continue building them. Actually I can also hire some…uhhh… “market moderators” to “enhance” my sales with the added value for them of a nice hull for salvaging…

Advocating for the little guys out there who cannot afford the ships like I can. I have well over $14,000.00 in game ships, 99% of them are with LTI. Only starters have less than LTI insurance. I cannot support this game at this Juncture. If you lose your STARTER ship in game and have to buy another one, just to meet your minimum of ships just to play the game? Not cool for the vast majority who have only one ship. Sadly, This reeks of a money grab and I will stop playing this game for now for fear of losing what I have paid cash for. I know they are trying this out, and in the process, many will lose their ship for somethin like SPACE DUST that destroys ships, or in game errors like GLITCHING, or "rubber-banding". Now they have added bird strikes, electric storms, etc? This to me is simply not a fair system unless ALL, literally all the in game killers are corrected...except legit combat, or asteroid strikes, etc.. Be honest, have your ship died from being swallowed by the ground you are landing or walking on? Elevators, stairs, grass, or rocks stopped killing people yet? They kill ships too. How many times have you been killed in quantum or flying in open space?? That is my point. Way too many issues to count. FIX THE DAMN GAME before you can even tease this type of in game changes. When it is literally flawless, then have at it, otherwise, you are banking on the flaws to make more money and cause people to buy ships that the GAME killed, not any person, or NPC. Which also brings another point...will they boost the aggressiveness and accuracy of the NPC ships to kill us easier? Sadly, I will sit this out until they make better decisions. I will come back when they make Star Citizen great again.

I like how this all comes out as Master modes makes it impossible to protect yourself as you come out of warp. Shields are down your guns don’t work. Pirates lock onto you and start mowing you down. At the most you may have 10 to 15% shields up You’re crawling and slow and they kill you. You cannot defend yourself out of war with master mode. it’s pathetic. It’s stupid and now they’re getting ready to be hard-core. What a joke! With components and ships, And Insurance, LTI.

As you have shown at the beginning of the video.... it is too easy to lose a ship. A simulation is great IF YOU CAN PROGRAM CORRECTLY. It is designed to simulate. When does a random exploding ship even classify as a simulation? Since the software will FOREVER BE FLAKY THEN THEY SHOULD NOT GO DOWN THE DARK ALLEY OF TORTURING PLAYERS FURTHER. They should lean more toward arcade style gameplay. Think about it. How many times, how many times have you bot only wasted your time but aUEC because of a random glitch or bug? I have spent all day back to back attempts to just get my ship out, load a ground vehicle and make it to another station. LTI is a bare minimum. If you do not have it you will regret it. I have been in this since the beginning. I have witnessed this first hand. The software is a digital torture device. It is designed to break the human condition. The experience differs based on what computer you are using and your internet connection etc. So many variables. They need to have things in place to protect the players. No one thinks of the consequences to the player.

I thought about getting into the game it looks interesting but white all this stuff that doesn't make sense and complicated stuff i just decided that i will play starfield and no men sky their system are more better and not complicated like this system so i guess they lost a potential player besides starfield and no men sky doesn't have bugs like this game cause i have done my homework already

LTI will be lvl 1 insurane which will probably cost next to nothing in game, Lvl 2 I bet will be much more expensive and is what most people will want as you wont be flying stock components for long. So I wouldn't worry if you dony have LTI as you will be paying for the lvl 2 anyway even if you have LTI. All store bought ships have the warranty LTI or not

what used to be a good game when i joined has now become the ultimate waste of time crap game. last i played was 15 minutes of 3.23 and than i never played again. NOW with as little time as i have there is too much time wasting and time sync with their BS changes. $1334 in the hole and regret every penny! it now really scrap

@@infinitespace239 I did and not only has all but the layout of tiers is old news been a know fact since at least 2014. And we always know that you could get an upgraded insurance to cover cargo and compentants. Also you did eve get your fact straight, no insurance but warranty means you get zip until you make your insurance payments and possibly a late penalty, not sure if the later still a thing.
