In tears listening to your story! 😭. Wildfire smoke is so terrible; we were wearing N-95 masks (before COVID even hit) when we had wildfire smoke blanketing our skies. Thankfully, it didn’t get to the point of evacuation. It will surely be a Thanksgiving to remember this year to express gratitude for your safety, your family, and your home! 🥹😇.

It definitely is. The smell is so strong. We had to cover our windows and doors to stop the bad smell from coming in. The first night back home I was so nauseous because everything was strong. 🙁

I live in Lehigh Valley, PA and this dry weather we were having has affected not only PA ( Blue Mountain wild fires) but also in NJ and Upstate NY. Thankfully we got rain on Thursday after two months without it. Very smart keeping your important documents in one place to get at it fast. I did the same. I love everything you got in your haul and I pray and hope that you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. ❤🙏

I live in SW WA state; in Oct.of ‘22’, we were in a wildfire ‘get ready’ zone…it WAS SO,SCARY!!! And now this year, its rained non-stop entire month of November so far and earlier this week we had the bomb cyclone which is the same thing as a hurricane basically but the Pacific Northwest doesn’t get hurricanes so they call them bomb cyclones…well, we’re surrounded by massive humongous evergreen trees I mean it’s the forest here right Pacific Northwest Washington state, the Evergreen State when that wind came through trees fell through peoples houses like butter in there or even a few deaths multiple injuries hundreds of thousands of people without power even still up in Seattle area I’m 2 1/2 hours away from Seattle but we still had the wind here not quite as bad as them up there….these weather events seem to have gotten extreme these past 2-4years….ooof.

Laura I just saw this video, Thank God you and your family are well. Can I give u a little advice ,I'm a prepper, someone who prepares for anything major Please get a small safe with a handle that u can carry. I have one I have all my important documents in it . Each person in your house should have a bug out bag . Have the essentials in each bag for each person.Whwn you get a chance Google Prepping and watch a lot of videos about preparing! Hope this helps.
