I just joined a Patreon group I feel certain the Ballinger fam would love. It’s by the American Theatre Wing, called The Playreaders Club. Every month they have a zoom meeting where they read through a new play each month. I am so excited about it, and had to share the knowledge, because it feels very Ballinger-esque!

My best friend home-schooled her 3 kids. Her oldest went to a lot of college classes and had 2 years of credit at a lower cost. She went to Texas A&M and graduated in 2 years. Now she is a manager at a health care facility. Her brother is a Nurse and they youngest works in the lab and I think runs test on the blood or something. Their dad also works there. He started in transportation as a teenager and worked his way up to some big wig position. I love that Stacy was able to home-school her children.

Question/ fun fact: you can create your own major! It’s something to talk to your counselor about & figure out what classes would be needed. That’s what I did, was able to create my own major and it “counted” as a real major.

Strange your school didn't do that. We were allowed to take 6 units of college courses. That allowed me to skip the freshmen English and math courses. So, college ID number started with #75 - a loooooong time ago! I still live in SoCal, but south of you. (My high school is long gone, becoming a mini mall. It was more worth to sell the land and build a new one elsewhere)

If Bailey wishes for me to site my evidence I am happy to oblige. Die Hard is a Christmas Movie due to the following reasons: first, the evident holiday motifs and decor. Second, the theme of doing anything for the love of family despite chaos and upheaval. One could point out the triumph of good over tyranny, but that could apply to many holidays. So I instead my most poignant fact is that so many people turn to die hard as a solid holiday option when feeling alone or isolated during the holiday season. Die Hard 2 has a stronger connection to Christmas and being a Christmas movie, but DH1 is still a solid holiday option. Colloquially speaking Die Hard is a Holiday movie because it's popularity has endured because it's a movie you watch at this time of year and has been for decades. Also, maybe check out a live version of Die Hard the musical only put on during the holiday season. Or maybe that's just in the PNW.
