You inspire me, hopefully one day I’ll be able to boat across the Great Lakes

I hope you do, as this area is known as the best freshwater cruising grounds in the world :-)

A Looper burgee would look great on your bow....ever consider looping?

We've discussed it, but would more likely do the run down the east coast/Intracoastal Waterway to Florida at some point. With our #boat being gas powered, limited fuel stops along the Mississippi route is a determining factor for us.

@@BoatingWithBoogaboo - We did that route last summer. Lotsa stops with gas and diesel from Chicago to Hoppies (gas and diesel) just south of St. Louis. From there to Paducah (gas and diesel) is about 180 miles with about 140 of it downstream where you can get real good economy by minimizing speed and taking advantage of the current. There are 2-3 good overnight stops between Hoppies and Paducah. From there to the gulf is easy peasy. You would truly enjoy the trip.

Interesting. Now you got me thinking . . . Thanks for the tips.

That 400 Sedan Bridge almost looked like Boogaboo IV! That would have been very neat if that was her! I still can get over how clear the water is up there. So much algae down here in Erie. Looking forward to the next video! -Nic

The water on our lake (Simcoe) is super clear, as is Georgian Bay. It's quite beautiful, for sure! Not sure if you have watched the video of when Boogaboo IV was spotted going over - you guessed it - the Big Chute? Check it out; kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioq5cmx3frRgjZI

Fun video, keep them coming! I estimate that I have 4,032 hours until my boat is back on the water. Subtract sleep, work, and hockey Dad stuff leaves 1,000 hours living vicariously through KZbin boaters.

Two questions... What is the vertical lift/drop of the big chute?? Has the Big Chute ever dropped a boat during transit?? Sorry, three. Why did you get rid of the 400 SB?? Years ago, I had a SR 300 SB w/twin 260s. Loved that boat!!

All the info on the Big Chute Marine Railway can be found in this video that I produced last year; kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnvRpX2poLJgnbc . From what I've learned, they've never dropped a boat. And here's a a video discussing whey we sold #Boogaboo IV; kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJPVooh4iNqlnLc. That proved to be a good move for us, as we are now getting much more use out of the current #Sundancer.
