Hi John, The camper is washer/dryer prepped. It is in the closet around 17.55 minutes in. You could do a combo or stackable style. They do not offer a dishwasher on their advertised option list but sometime they will do them by special request if it will fit on the model. It normally goes in the island and would replace the two lower drawers so you do lose a little storge.

It's a beautiful RV, but it still looks like 1980's RV inside. Except, for the appliances, tv's and furniture. The wall coverings, carpet and I guess the choice of colors for the wall with the wood cabinetry and those plain wood doors just gives it that early 80's look a little bit. I would have done dark wood or dark flooring no carpets at all and done a silvery or light grayish walls with and white kitchen cabinets and white marble counter tops and 6 panel wood or fiberglass doors. I guess that's how the owners wanted. But nonetheless, a beautiful RV!

naive comment. If you want to sell something this expensive, you need to design a model in an attractive, contemporary style with a comfortable layout. It's why builders design model home interiors well--to attract buyers. The guts and conveniences of this model look great, but the inside here is just plain ugly and cramped. And that's just plain bad business. Guys, work with an experienced, forward-thinking architect and interior designer to get it right.

2 7,000lb axles and a gross weight of 16,500 lbs ? That’s horrible. Axles can handle 14,000 lbs but the sticker says gross weight 16,500 lbs. this will create major problems. I would not accept this fifth wheel. Even the dry weight 14,520 lbs is more than the axles can hold. This rig for full timers needs 2 10,000 lbs axles or 3 7,000 lbs axles

What's with the brown 1980's interior? How can anyone have done that deliberately in 2019? And linoluem which looks like tiles? And carpet? And 27 different wood tones? And a kitchen straight out of 1992? And what the heck are the walls covered with? Seriously, unless you want to limit your appeal to people over 70, you really need to lift your interiors game. Check out current RV trends in Japan and Northern Europe, if you want know how to broaden your market to include younger people.
@patb93755 жыл бұрын
There are other interior choices in campers if you look you can find them or ask the sales person. If you want the white and cheap plastic european look they are out there. Since they sell thousand of these every year there are people that disagree with your taste. You can also design your own, maybe you will sell them and be rich.
@morningdewreynolds54764 жыл бұрын
If the axels are each only rated for 7,000 pounds, then how is it that the dry weight of the camper is 14,516? I understand that some of the weight will be born by the tow vehicle, however, it says that you can "load/fill it up" with another nearly 2,000 lbs. Can you educate me as to why the axels would be rated for less than what the trailer weighs even BEFORE loading it?
@justinsparks50264 жыл бұрын
MorningDew Reynolds someone needs to check their math lol
@badgerpa93 жыл бұрын
I think it should have (2) two 8,000 pound axles. But here is an explanation why they have the 7K other than price. You will always have weight on the front jacks or the tow vehicle, you need at least 15% but should have 20% for this size trailer for the truck to handle it better. If you max it out at 16,000 pounds and have 20% on the pin on the tow vehicle you have over 3,000 on the truck and are only 13,000 on the axles. This is nice but it is made for a price point and any extra would raise that price. These are also often hauled to a park and setup on blocks for a couple years, they are full time living and some people will park them at a nice place and stay for a long time.

I'm sure it's difficult trying to please everyone. But there are basic design principles that one learns at school, like color theory, and how the eye needs to be able to travel through a space with ease. I'd absolutely love to get a chance to speak with someone at Forrest Rivers, Jayco, Keystone, DRV, or Open Range. So that I could collaborate with them on a trial-run, and perhaps releasing them as a special limited edition to their key market dealerships to help shift their design language into a new, and exciting direction. One where beige, and the mismatched wood stains of the cabinet fascias to surrounds are a thing of the past, and ABSOLUTELY NO MORE ALMOND EXTERIORS WITH SWIRLING GRAPHICS! We shouldn't have to pay $12,000 for an exterior that isn't the visual equivalent of room temp oatmeal. Why can't these coaches be a solid color, like medium platinum satin or gloss pearl? Also...... Blue LED accent lighting is the upscale interiors kiss of death! It's quiet literally the quickest way to make any space that's not ultra modern look cheap, and tacky. LEDs are great for creative accent lighting. Especially because they last a long time, they're small, and very efficient. But they don't give off the infrared wavelengths that halogen incandescent bulbs do, and if you have them everywhere at home, and you notice that you're not feeling as chipper or happy during the winter months........ That'd be the reason! Slightly warm white light is the most aesthetically pleasing for interior accent lighting.....PERIOD! And black light switches, surrounds on exterior doors, and seam covers is awful! For the younger, more utilitarian, motocross type demographic toy-hauler applications it's totally acceptable. But it cheapens a unit targeted towards a more laid back type of coach with lighter color scheme. Truly, it does. Holy crap, that was a rant and a half! My sincere apologies. But I'm right.

Too many poorly thought out aspects of this rig. Two 7,000 pound axles and the dry weight of the vehicle is in excess of 14,000 pounds. Not safe math. If you install washer and dryer, you have to fight them to get the vacuum cleaner out. Linoleum floors?!?!?!?!? CHEAP. The TV in the bedroom has two ugly wires sticking out in the upper right corner. These folks could not do something simple like hide the wires. Separate controls for the front and rear hydraulic jacks?!?!?!?!? That is just asking for problems. Some of the slide out sections seem really small compared to other similar rigs. TV connections in storage? What for???? Or do they think you will buy a TV to put outside rather than having an external TV built into the rig like others have done. The lack of a full wall between the kitchen and living room, is a waste of space. The rig can carry at least two 30 gallon propane tanks yet the fireplace is electric only. The heat vent in the full bathroom... strategically placed to receive dripping water as anyone gets out of the shower. Very poor location for that vent. I could go on, but I have said enough.

Uuhhh, about that Coachman RV thingy. The side part that telescopes out about 6 feet 'er so. What if 2-3 extremely fat people were to do jumping jacks in unison on the extended side part of the trailer?? Would it break off, or even make the whole fuck'n she'bang tip over?? If y'awll can have quality control field some tests, & send me a few copies of the videos taken, that would be great! Because research....

It will handle you. there is a coach to sit on in the slide and they go out less than 36 inches.

Hummmm it's bigger than I thought🤔 it's nice ☺️I only wish it was bullet proof 😥

would weigh to much to tow if it was bullet proof.

It only has 2 to 3 places to sleep and that is all you really need and the kitchen and TV if you are camping we have a nice camper and it has more places to sleep than that so I am not a big fan of it we have a big family
@patb93755 жыл бұрын
This is not set up for a big family it is set up for grandma and grandpa or a couple that travels some and has friends over but only have overnight guests some time.

Bought a 2012 Big Country and love it. Living in it full time and no different than a house except smaller.

I am thinking of purchasing a camper to live in, but I’m not sure how the electricity and gas work, is there like hookups for gas like a house? Or do you actually need to refill tanks? Where does the restroom waste go? What’s the cost of living like?
@donnamanitu83726 жыл бұрын
So why would they carpet the heavy traffic steps and then use vinyl flooring on the steps to the bedroom ? I wouldn't like for my guests to go thru my bedroom when they needed to shower. Very nice to have the interior be finished off muted instead of the high polish final coat on the wood.

Wouldn’t like having all The control switches at the opening of the front door. Maybe it’s handy but it would have been nice to have disguised it so it’s not right in your face.
@Toekneepowers6 жыл бұрын
It’s nice but that size doesn’t give you many options on campgrounds.

Why they put the bathroom next to the kitchen I don't like that please put the bathroom eway of the kitchen
@patb93755 жыл бұрын
you can get floor plans with no bathroom by the kitchen. With the kitchen in the middle it is hard to put the bathroom away from the kitchen.

The interiors of these US RVs are disgusting. Have a look at some of the European versions. There is no comparison.

All over the world you will see ONLY european cars, no body want ugly and bad quality american cars. Trust me, european people dont like this ugly interior, this is for american people. You dont know your country....

@lexisibley31495 жыл бұрын
I agree we have a camper and a small kitchen and we have a TV but we don't use it and we have more places to sleep in ours than that and ours is smaller that is really all you need is a place to sleep and a kitchen
@patb93755 жыл бұрын
This is for someone that is living in it for most of the year or full time. They are not taking this out to the back 40 to camp. They are living in a nice place while getting away from home to visit someone or some thing. Snowbirds like a camper like this.
