The reason a lot of other coil overs don’t have full spindles is because most countries including New Zealand bc golds with spindles don’t pass crack testing for Cert. So welding coil overs onto factory struts is actually the safer way to do it

Late model GT-S (like mine) have an SR-5 chassis, seats, etc.....however the VIN is what makes them a GT-S. The VIN itself has the AE88 to go along with it, so the actually chassis stamp is not a clear indiactor to go by.
