This is pretty cool, but I just came to the realization that Intamin’s single rail concept is actually just their normal track with some extra material in between the rails. You can still see the tubes that the wheels run on.

Although it's more obvious on intamins version, to be frank RMCs raptor track is still clearly two rails they're just directly connected to the spine

@foulasign when I went on this ride it was called the big dipper but I've seen it's also been known as intamins hot racer too (ik they are the same ride cuz i saw the same rides in the background).

We really needed a new coaster and this one being compact, exciting enough for adults and accessible enough to older kids and giving Luna Park some legit coaster cred is wonderful. You can only ride the wild mouse and rotor so many times lmao

@@donoakes85 we waited for about 90 mins in the rain for 1 train & when we were near the front they added the second train, things went much quicker after that. The queue was getting out of hand plus there was a slight maintenance issue which delayed things a little.

@@donoakes85 I never liked them until I got the guts to ride DC rivals at Movieworld and fell in love with them from there. My 11 year old mustered the courage to ride this one as her first big coaster and loved it, the bar has been set pretty high for future coasters for her!

Ok...Love the POV and it looks like an amazing ride and I think it's fantastic...however, Intamin cannot hide the fact that it's basically the same track they've been using for years, but they just filled in the gaps? Don't know if other people agree, but found that funny. WIsh I could come down to ride it! Looks intense and awesome!

I think those coasters use magnetic brakes, though. I understand, however, that tires are quieter as a launch option, however, they are probably louder as a braking option, though not by much, and cheaper (and tires are more reliable), so I understand Luna Park’s choice, just find it odd, as with all tire drive brake runs.

Big tip: when on the main part or just the whole thing let your head do it’s think, if it’s going forward let it go foward and dint force ur head back since it will hurt and if u have ur head on the back of the seat ur in danger

Are those tires at the end regenerative brakes? I for myself rode Juvelen in 2016 and found it very entertaining. That US Intamin tire launch coaster, Wave Breaker - The rescue coaster, has a bad reputation in the community tho.

Luna Park has been there since 1935 and has had 6 different roller coasters aside from the new one over the years. I have been visiting this park for over 50 years. If you were dumb enough to buy a place here you knew what you were in for.

@@vicenteperezac Those residential buildings have been a bone of contention for at least 50 years.... basically, in the 80's the developers were able to get approvals through dodgy dealings, assuming that Luna Park would be sold off & gone by the end of the decade. But it backfired on them when Luna Park became a heritage-listed site, so it wasn't going anywhere! They have spent decades complaining about noise but no-one has any sympathy since they bought apartments knowing full well there was _an amusement park right next to their balconies...._ I think local council got sick of their whinging & approved the coaster just to teach them a lesson! LOL
