Freddo' and Roscoe were actually very polite with their honest but fair food reviews, not as harsh as some of those My Kitchen Rules scathing comments. 😊😊 Maybe Luke and Sam will serve some complementary gravy to go with the veggies next time....LOL. Such good boys! My dog would have eaten the broccoli and carrot if it was cooked, and the lettuce if it had dressing on it! Especially if it comes off my plate!

Now try it with Staffy's and bring in a Labrador. Our Lab and Staffy's would eat the carrot, after they saw us eating them. They might also eat lettuce and the broccoli if they were small enough and if had a yummy enough dressing on them.

I heard carrots are great for teething puppies. I haven’t had a puppy since the 80’s so I’ve never tried it. My dog loves cooked carrots as a snack or in her food. The more naturally sweeter they are the more she eats them. She won’t eat them raw at all though, I think because cooking them bring out the sweetness of them. Plus she’s 9 1/2 and has teeth like the golden boys and Shadow. They are close to the gum line. I think it’s a trait in Staffy/Pittys.

My 'boy' loves raw veggies. He gets them after meal, to hopefully clean his teeth a bit. I chop up carrot, broccoli & broccolini heads & stalks, cauliflower & celery, and he gets a bit of each as 'dessert'. No coercion needed, & I use them as treats too. Oh,I forgot the bits of apple, orange, mandarine we share. 🥦🍊🍌🍏🥕🐕🙂
