I lived in Jo'burg in the early 90's for 3 years and although it had a reputation for being very violent and a lot of gun crime, I only came across 1 instance of gun crime and that was from 400 yards away and involved the police! I remember the huge armoured personel carriers they had!! Honestly I thought RSA was full of fantastic people struggling to make end's meet but I met some of the most brilliant minds out there - real out of the box thinkers and amazing emgineers!!! The food was fantastic and wonderful weather but OMG those thunder storms - seriously mindblowing!!! 🤯🤯🤯 God bless you & I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
