The greatest artistic injustice of our time is that this amazing band was dismissed by all US major record labels. Big Elf is & always will be one of the greatest Rock bands to ever walk the earth.

I saw Big Elf at least once in -99 or 2000 in Helsinki Tavastia, when they we're playing in "Never Trust a Hippie" -summerclub, which was hosted by one of the greatest live bands ever, Five Fifteen. Excellent band, though I didn't find this song so good.

Saw it at the Zenith of lille two, these guys are incredible. Best sound i've heard (apart from DT) for a long long time (way better than the other two groups, Unexpect and even Opeth.)

They were by far the best opening band for Dream Theater. While Zappa Plays Zappa was more technically proficient they failed to hold my attention for their whole set. Bigelf held me riveted from the start. They rocked.

No doubt. I respect their musicianship very much. Especially the girl who played the flute, sax, piano, and sang. It was pretty awesome. Plus they looked like they were havin' a blast. Unfortunately, I was only interested for the first 15-20 minutes of each song, then I felt it got repetitive. However! I respect your opinion, and I definitely enjoyed their portion for the most part.

HAHAHA! Exactly what i was thinking. the opening riff + the look sounded like IRON MAN. and the laught at the start. OZZY - Crazy Train? hahaha. and the first verses sounds like the verses in ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL. Cool though. i don't think they're ripping them off or something. don't get me wrong :). i just think it's cool. It's probably their influences showing through their music.

i completly agree, was at the gig and Opeth was just all too much for me, amazing musicians but i just think they've combined metal and prog rock for the worse this time, Whereas Bigelf are just a nice twist on things that have already been done, and is very refreshing rather than abrasive!
